Thanks for the comments around informing employer, and I would like to clarify my thoughts a bit -
My employer does not have a policy requiring disclosure of situation like mine - that’s comparatively lenient.
This is however different from how they might react if I voluntarily tell them - this could vastly different by specific individuals handling the information.
The reason I’m asking in the OP re I-129S is that if I don’t need a new one, then, there is chance that I can handle this myself - if so, I would not risk the uncertainty of their reaction.
