I submitted once to NVC already, and they rejected me, so I am resubmitting again tomorrow. It is all a pain 😕 I can update once there is a change

Thank you for such a detailed message. It shows in CEAC that have already accepted my previous i864 form online..do you suggest I still submit a new form? Or do you think uploading my recent pay stubs and employment letter will be sufficient?

Hello, I have been in tears all day. Please help. Our lawyer is saying one thing, but we aren't sure if we can trust her. The brief story is that I didn't file taxes last year because I was living abroad with my husband, and I had a cosponser, but he ended up bailing on me last minute; I returned to the USA as soon as my sponsor bailed and got a job as a preschool teacher over the summer. I submitted an exemption for why I didn't file 2022 taxes and all my pay stubs from my teaching job. Teaching job paid 34k/year This is the message we got from NVC: The good news is that I just started a nursing job last week with great pay. Our lawyer advised that I submit two paystubs from my nursing job and an employment verification letter. Again, I just started this nursing job. My question is....will this work? It is saying above that I need a joint sponsor...but I have no family. I am all alone here with no one else to ask I don't know what to do I am feeling so depressed because of all this. Any advice would mean the world to me right now. Thank you

Hello! We will be having our interview in Jerusalem once we get through NVC. I heard from someone that the US embassy in Jerusalem only accepts criminal records that are mailed directly to them from the country where the record is obtained; and that they will not take records handed to them or uploaded to them by the applicant. Is this true? Does anyone have experience with criminal records in Jerusalem? Kind of freaking out because I am not even sure how we would have the country mail it directly to them. Thank you for your response! Do you mind elaborating a little more with your response for 2? I don't understand what you mean when you say social media network specific. Would I use the public username everyone sees or the the official identificatin number of the social network profile?

Hello all, I have a question about the social media identifier question on the DS-260 form. 1) My husband deleted most of his social medias a couple years ago due to never using them. Are we still required to list all of them, even the ones he already deleted? 2) Also, when it asks for "Social Media User ID" are they talking about your handle or the official ID (the one with numbers usually)? 3) What happens if you accidentally forget one? My husband is freaking out because he already deleted his social medias and he doesnt remember several of the handles, and especially doesn't have access to the IDs anymore. My current teacher job is about 34k per year (seriously teachers need to be paid more), although I am hourly at $18/hr and not salary. No sure if that would be a safe option for NVC.. but this reply certainly gives me a lot to think about. Thank you again

Although, I recently started this job and should get my first pay stub soon. So my question was - how many stubs would be sufficient with my new job since I did not file taxes last year due to unemployment.

Hello all! Firstly, thank you so much for your help in advance! I am looking for some advice please. Last year I was a full time nursing student and therefore unemployed. My income was zero and I didn't file taxes. Our case just got approved and sent to NVC but my first nursing job doesn't start for another 3 months, although, I do have an offer letter. In the interim - I am working as a preschool teacher over the summer until my nursing job starts. But, I just started working as a preschool teacher and should get my first pay stub soon. I am really worried about being rejected from NVC because of my lack of recent tax returns and becuase I newly got a job. Any idea how many pay stubs you think would be sufficient and if I stand a chance without tax returns? Do you think 3 pay stubs and my nursing offer letter would suffice? I don't really have anyone to ask to joint sponsor me I'm really worried. Thank you all!
