  1. The thing is we don’t know if the lawyer from 01 submitted the 245i or not. He went MIA after 9/11. Could there be a way for me to check?
  2. Yes born and raised in California Back in high-school I tried applying but with my asthma they denied me entry
  3. She entered in 1999 and she entered illegally. Well from what I understand the lawyer was in the process of submitting a 245i for her. As I mentioned when 9/11 happened all updates were cut and she hasn't heard anything ever since. She is scared to dig into it since she won't know what could happen.
  4. Hello, my name is Alex. I am 23 years old and I’m here because I want to know how I can give my mother her permanent US residency. From what my mother has told me, she had a lawyer recommended by an employer back in 2001. Unfortunately the lawyer disappeared along with the paperwork and no update was ever sent to my mother. She has never been in trouble with the law and also has an ITN she has used for work for years. We’ve called many, many lawyers and they all say she needs to go back to her home country (Mexico) for 10 years and submit and apology to get a chance to submit for her US residency. I am a firm believer of “when there is a will, there is a way.” I have the will but is there a way for me to file for her US residency without her having to leave the US. If so what form can I fill out to start this process. I need advise and help.
