  1. This is the exact question I had. You can't file a form N600 unless you are already a US citizen so I think that question is wrongly worded. I think they mean status before citizenship. I had put other and typed US Citizen but I think that was wrong.
  2. Yea it turns out it was for biometric appointments. I guess if you are kids they do new ones.
  3. The expiration date is ignored but you if you look at the top right of the form you just linked to you will see an expiration date.
  4. No that doesn't work. All my letters just throw a null error so I can't see the actual letters just the name and a bad link.
  5. Anyone else have [link removed at poster's request] listed under documents? I am hoping it just means that biometric appointment is not needed and not that they are scheduling it.
  6. I am now thinking I answered this question wrong. I think they probably meant what was your status before citizenship but I checked other and put US Citizen. You can't use the form N600 if you are not a citizen so answering LPR didn't make much sense since my daughter is a citizen now not a LPR. How did others answer that question? I am A Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) A Nonimmigrant A Refugee/Asylee Other (Explain
  7. This has now been changed on the site to reflect "you must submit the original Certificate of Naturalization," You do not need to obtain a Certified True Copy if the U.S. government asks for a copy of your certificate for official U.S. government business. You may use a normal photocopy of your certificate for legitimate U.S. government business. For example, when you apply for a U.S. passport, you must submit the original Certificate of Naturalization, and you should also submit a normal photocopy that has not been authenticated.
  8. This is old I know but USCIS sent my 10 year old a notice on how to set up an online account which we did. Not sure why yours says 14 and above. We filed her N600 online with no issues under her account.
  9. If you are traveling soon I wouldn't apply yet as you have to give up the green cards at the time of application and who knows when you will get your passports.
  10. It is still a long wait for you all. For my area it is only an average of 4 months.
  11. Biometrics are not required for a N600 I think they only do those if they suspect fraud. " USCIS may require that you appear for an interview or provide fingerprints, photograph, and/or signature at any time to verify your identity, obtain additional information". Also if they require it you will have to pay an additional fee.
  12. Our letters show up online but when you click it just goes to an error page with null null so they don't have things worked out very well.
