  1. Receive an email with our case number. Is there an additional letter that we're looking for that's gonna actually say welcome letter or can we just go in and start the application process for the Visa what are the next steps when Do we pay the fees and get a check list of documents needed? I'm just trying to get the steps in order will the latter give us an appointment date or we go online creating application pay the fees and then choose an appointment date I'm all over the place?
  2. OK so they responded to our inquiry and said that it was received but it hasn't been input it into the database we would receive a welcome letter and our unique number. In addition I'm not sure if this helped but I wrote to my local Congresswoman to investigate they said they were on it and will let us know once they heard something back. What's crazy is we heard back the same day from the Congress woman and the NVC.
  3. I think we're in the same boat we're in limbo right now we were improved in April was supposed to be sent to the NBC in Portsmouth,NH. Have heard nothing. Did an inquiry and they told us that they hadn't received it yet and to check with the USC IS.
  4. Our case was approved April the 4th have not received any correspondence from NVC. Send an inquiry and receive the following message: To Whom it Concerns: Thank you for your inquiry. Our records do not show that we received your petition. It can take up to six weeks for an approved petition from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to arrive at the National Visa Center (NVC). Once we receive it, we will enter your petition into the U.S. Department of State's database systems.
