  1. Hey luckydog123! Would you mind sharing your interview experience? I hope you have your naturalization certificate in hands already ☺️
  2. Very well may be 😄 others may better advise as to registration for selective service but you should be good without it given that you are over the age of 25. Did your notice ask you to bring tax transcripts? I was surprised to not see them in the list.
  3. Yep, the interview notice lists “evidence of selective service registration” among the documents that are required. I am a female though so this is not applicable I guess. I may be wrong, but a believe all male immigrants age 18-25 are required to register and provide proof at the interview.
  4. Looks like today is a happy day for March filers I also received my interview notice today. Woohoo!
  5. I still have a hard time understanding how USCIS assigns these receipt numbers to cases 😄 Let’s stay connected, I will definitely share an update as soon as I have it.
  6. No name change for me. I contacted a couple of people from February who have been waiting longer than the others and we did not find any similarities in our cases. So I feel like it’s completely random 😄 the only conspiracy theory that we have discussed is that the ones who are waiting longer have their receipt numbers start at IOE94xxx. It may be just a coincidence though 🙃
  7. You are not alone, I am also still waiting for an interview. Filed on March 26. Seattle FO. I don’t think there is much you can do, unfortunately. I tried contacting USCIS via live chat and was told that my application is still being processed at the NBC. I bet yours is sitting there as well.
  8. Trust me, I know exactly how you feel and if my message made your waiting a little bit less stressful, I am glad I hope we’ll get our notices soon; please keep me posted as to the status of your case
  9. You are not alone I am a March filer still waiting for an interview to be scheduled. My FO is Seattle though.
  10. Hey guys: just wanted to see if there are still any March filers patiently waiting for their interview notices:) Hope everybody’s doing good.
  11. Just to add to the conspiracy here: I am a March 2023 filer (Seattle field office) and my receipt number also starts with IOE94xxxx 😄 and.. I am also waiting longer than the other Seattle filers.
  12. Congratulations! 🎉 so excited for you! How did you get a real person on the phone when calling USCIS?:)
  13. Hey roseberry! For the timelines, are you checking the statuses of the n-400 applicants who have the same field offices as you?:)
  14. Hey guys! Joining the group here. Thank you all for sharing the updates on your cases. My timeline: Submitted N-400 application under the 5-year residence rule: March 26, 2023. Seattle Field Office. Biometrics Appointment: April 19, 2023. Case is being Actively Reviewed: April 19, 2023 to present. Almost all applicants who post in the Seattle thread received their interview notices in the order in which their N-400 applications were received. I almost feel like USCIS specifically missed me in line LOL I entered a Live Chat today and was transferred to an agent surprisingly fast only to being told "At this time you have not the application is in process." I have no idea what this might mean but definitely nothing promising. Thank you all for sharing your timelines and experiences! Hope all of our journeys to citizenship are smooth and fast.
  15. Hey luckydog123! Thank you SO MUCH for responding to my message. Community support is the key when there is not much we can do to have USCIS move faster As an update on my case: I entered the live chat today and was told "at this time you have not the application is in process. Continue to wait for officer to process your application." This does not look grammatically correct to me and I don't really understand what this means.. it's not promising at all LOL Fingers crossed we both will hear back from USCIS. Please keep me updated as to the status of your case
  16. Hi everyone! First time poster on VJ, but I have been monitoring this thread for months! Appreciate everybody's sharing their timelines and experiences. My timeline: Filed N-400 under the five-year residence rule: March 26, 2023 Biometrics Appointment: April 19, 2023 Case is being Actively Reviewed: April 19, 2023 to present I see some applicants who applied after me already receiving their interview notices and get anxious about my case If anybody was or is in a similar situation, would you please share your experience? This thread was not active for the past month and I feel like I am the only one experiencing delay with the interview LOL Wishing all a smooth journey to citizenship
