My husband and i begin our i130 application journey in June 2021, after waiting 2 years i got my interview April 2023. Side note we have been married for 14 years and have a daughter together . I got 221g at the interview due to not receiving Fiji Police report , i had my Canadian one but not from Fiji. The interviewer officer told me they will contact the Fiji Embassy to see if they received my Fiji report if they or I are unable to get the report she will waive the police report required. Back story about my situation: I moved to Canada in 1995 , i haven't been back since then. However i asked my niece who was visiting Fiji in August 2022 to help me get the police report. With her i sent in funds , fingers prints and necessary documents. After waited few hours at the Police station in Fiji an office took the fees and the documents in return gave her receipt . She took a picture of the receipt so she can send it to me for my future reference. When i got my notification about my interview date i emailed the Fiji police 4 times never got an answer . Now its September 2nd so far i have been in contact with US embassy in Montreal. I also emailed Fiji police another 3 times after April 2023 (interview date) and no reply . On the email to US embassy i asked if i can now get a police report waive since been over 4 months they emailed me back saying " We have contacted the U.S. Embassy in Fiji to request an update on this process, and will contact you with further instructions as soon as we can." Now my question is how long and what is the process for a waive like this?

When you log into CEAC once in look under applicant information click on completed (IV Application) and review , there should be a little icon saying print.

My situation is similar my hubby is US citizen he moved to Canada 2009 and he has PR here . When we applied for me to move up to USA my father-in-law filled out 1-864 and my mother-in-law filled out 1-864A . My hubby had to fill 3 years of US taxes showing his Canadian income and also had to fill out 1-864. When i went for my interview at the Montreal consulate they asked me for my husband most recent 1040 (USA income tax form).
