  1. No, we haven't received it yet. They issued it at close of business friday so I wasn't expecting anything today. I saw we had an update today on CEAC. Maybe LBC will send us a tracking number tomorrow. Good to know they're mailing them fast. Thanks!
  2. We first opened our account at Rapidvisa almost two and a half years ago... and it got issued today! Hooray!
  3. Yeah, I'm just trying to understand what exactly goes on back there. We had "Ready" updates on 7/26, 7/31, and 8/1. Getting anxious.
  4. Congratulations Do they do final processing on 221(g)s based on interview date?
  5. Case just updated. It went from "ready" to "ready". Thanks a lot, guys. I suppose it's not a BAD sign, though. Just an annoying one.
  6. Once LBC delivers the documents and the embassy officially receives it, the case updates without the status changing. That's what I noticed a couple weeks ago.
  7. I can't edit my previous post, so I have to doublepost, sorry! My wife may not be here when they mail the visa back as she's traveling, and we're putting together a letter of authority just in case. It asks for a "fee receipt number". Is that the transaction ID for the IV fee? I'm including the NVC case number, invoice ID, transaction ID, and the USCIS receipt #. But I'm not sure.
  8. We got an update today and the status on CEAC went from "refused" to "ready", but not "issued". Is this good news? What does that mean?
  9. The amount of checks and processing that happens is just mind-boggling. First the entire USCIS process... then the NVC... and then the embassies themselves look at everything a third or fourth time. What's even the point of being "documentarily qualified" if the embassy decides that you didn't submit X?
  10. Anybody know how long it takes to resolve a white slip 221(g)? The resettlement plan was the only thing they asked for. We sent additional docs with it as supporting evidence.
  11. No and I'm not sure why. I guess I need to contact the Embassy (we have to upload additional documents)
  12. Is anyone having difficulty uploading documents to CEAC? I keep trying and it hasn't let me over the past day.
  13. We immediately went to Rapidvisa's office to get it sorted and sent in paperwork an hour ago. Still infuriating.
  14. #######. They refused it until we give them a resettlement plan? Are you kidding me?
  15. Our interview is in a couple hours. Is there any way I can go into the embassy with her?
  16. Hah, we just got the email 10 minutes ago. Interview is already scheduled for Tuesday, so it just means that we're definitely good for it. Excited!
  17. Anybody have trouble with getting an NBI clearance with an AKA? We tried to get one and they refused to give it to us because my wife never legally changed her name (aside from taking my last name), though it seems like the embassy requires it. They're only letting us get one without an AKA.
  18. Congrats! Still waiting for ours (less than a week now). My wife just finished the medical earlier today and was given the all clear, which I'm happy about (I was worried they'd find something and delay the interview even more). Please let us know how long it takes for her visa to arrive, and how soon she's able to get into a CFO seminar.
  19. Long story short, we uploaded our documents to CEAC back in January prior to the 2022 tax deadlines so it used the years 2019-2021. Now we need to bring I864s updated with 2022. Should we bring both versions or is only the updated I864 necessary?
  20. Well, some of the groups I'm in on facebook are reporting that the autoexpedited june 26th batch people whose cases read "ready" were able to get into their interviews and get their visas approved, even without their embassy instruction packet or whatever. Thanks for motivating me to schedule. Just hope Saint Lukes doesn't see a "spot" on the X-ray...
  21. Tried to talk to US Travel Docs over the phone to clarify some of the documents. Seems like nobody has any idea what anyone else is doing. Travel Docs says the NVC is scheduling, US Embassy says that people can schedule their own appointments via travel docs, NVC seems to have given up. How is any of this acceptable?
  22. I know that feeling. We've been stuck in this process since Nov 2021. Thankfully we got Case Ready on Jun 30th- but I think we're lucky (I hope you guys get your Case Ready soon). We're mostly stressed because even after all of this ####### there's still no guarantee she'll be approved. Doesn't matter that we've been married and living together for four years, I make well over the income requirements, etc. I won't feel relieved until we're through the immigration checkpoint at JFK.
  23. How long before the interview does the medical exam have to be? Medical exam is on the 10th, interview is on the 18th. I don't think I see anything specified.
