  1. Hey! We’re at the NVC stage and we’re stuck at the petitioner’s document step. Can anyone please help us double check that we’re uploading the right documents the right way? So my wife is the petitioner and the sponser. We don’t have any joint sponsers. Here’s what we have uploaded so far for the petitioner: 1. form I-864. 2. most recent year tax transcript. .Here’s what we uploaded under (AOS additional documentation ). 1. 2022 and 2021 tax transcripts. (Separately) 2. 2023/2022/2021 W2’s ( separately not combined) 3. A letter from the employer under “ Proof of current or self employment “ 4. Petitioner’s marriage termination. 5. Petitioner’s birth certificate 6. Petitioner’s passport copy as a proof of US citizenship 7. Petitioner’s drivers license copy as a proof of US domicile My other question is do we need to upload marriage certificate under the petitioner’s documents? If yes which one? Is it their previous marriage certificate or the current one? And for the last 6 months paystubs, do we need to upload all of them separately or all combined in one single PDF? .Lastly, we’re not sure if we needed to upload all of that because the instructions are sometimes very unclear and it doesn’t explain if you need some of those documents only when you have a joint sponsor or not.
  2. I did make an inquiry and I’m waiting to hear back. Uscis told they had already sent it to the NVC
  3. I got approved on 10/09 and the status got updated to approved on 10/10 and nothing happened since then. I haven’t even gotten the update of your case was sent to department of state. I’m seeing a lot of people got their case sent to department of state soon after they got approved. Starting to get a little worried 🙁
  4. Hang in there August filers. You’re getting closer! I got approved today. My PD was August 2nd. I hope you all hear good news soon!
  5. I made a mistake in the form I130 in part 2 item 19a.I was supposed to put the place of the marriage that’s listed on the marriage certificate, but i instead put the place where the wedding ceremony was held at. Should i send uscis a letter explaining the mistake to avoid getting an RFE or should I just ignore it?
  6. When you sent the I129F form, Did you also have to send all of the documents you had already sent with the form I130? Like the marriage certificate and the proof of a bonafide marriage
  7. So after going through the form I130 a hundred times before we submitted it online, we opened the pdf file that gets saved on your uscis account after submitting the form and paying the fees and we found two mistakes that we’re 100% sure we didn’t make because we were so careful when filling and we went through it a lot of times. the first mistake we spotted was in my spouse address history. We listed 2 different addresses that my spouse lived in within the past 5 years, but when we opened the pdf file we found that it only saved the first address and it replaced it with the second address and it didn’t have dates on the first one. and the second mistake was in the passport country of issuance. We typed “tunisia” but it saved it as “Tun” my question is should we worry about those mistakes or we should ignore them since they’re not that important?
  8. Oh so should i put “self employed construction worker “ in the “name of employer/ company”?
  9. She didn’t take my last name. She is still using her ex husband last name.
  10. Thank you so much everyone! I just looked it up and found it! I’m gonna tell her to request a copy. last question, we don’t need anything else to proof her name change? The old marriage certificate should be enough?
