Hi there! New here and need a little guidance. Sorry if this subject has been touched on before. I am an American citizen, engaged to a Chinese citizen who is currently working in Poland. Our marriage ceremony will take place in August (via UTAH online agency) while we are in Poland-where he currently works. Although I am very open to moving abroad, we would have better opportunities and my family is here in Texas which is why I would like to try and bring him here first. The issue is ... well, a lot, but I won't bore you with my life story 😆 Currently, I do not meet the 3 year tax return requirement and was wondering if there were alternative routes we could take. The main thing is that we do not wish to live apart for more than 6 months. Is it possible that my soon-to-be husband could make his way out here himself (work visa) and then sometime in the future we could apply or adjust his status to marriage visa?
