  1. Hello everyone, I'm writing this message to offer support and guidance to anyone who may be going through a similar situation. In 2019, I came to the US on a CR1 visa and applied for the removal of conditions with my spouse in 2020. Unfortunately, our relationship was marked by numerous challenges, including issues with his parents and verbal abuse. Despite the difficult circumstances, I remained in the relationship due to a complex cycle of love and abuse. However, just one day before my interview, my ex served me with divorce papers, and I learned that he had prepared them three months earlier without informing me. I immediately sought legal assistance by hiring an attorney. She amended the petition, adding extreme cruelty and hardship waivers instead of pursuing a lengthy divorce process. The well-prepared case led to my approval without the need for an interview. It's important for me to share my story to encourage anyone facing abuse, whether emotional or physical, to seek help. By hiring an attorney and properly filing your case, you can navigate this difficult situation. If your marriage was genuine and in good faith, there is a good chance you'll be approved. I'm currently quite busy as I'm in the process of moving to another state, but I wanted to leave this message here for those who may benefit from my experience. Don't lose hope and fight for your case! You'll win if you're intentions are pure, and you have the right assistance. Overall petition took 33 months and after filing the amendment it took 1 year and 7 months. So overall 33 months. I am located in New York currently.
  2. Thanks. Hopefully, I wont have any problem cuz I am using Etihad airlines. What's your home country?
  3. No, I am only going for two weeks. So, if I book a flight with Qatar airways, it's usually from the US to Doha and from Doha to Pakistan. Would that be okay?
  4. So, I shouldn't go? I haven't booked the flight yet. Maybe I should book with Emirates?
  5. I'll ask my attorney tomorrow but because the flights are getting expensive, I need to book today. Haven't been to my home country ever since I got here.
  6. Hm. I researched. Seems like Boarding Foil can help come back to the US in case something happens
  7. I am planning to travel to my home country next week. My GC is expired and I have a 48 months extension letter. I called to get an infopass stamp but they said I dont need it because of the extension letter. I am just thinking about the worst case scenario. What happens if one loses their documents? What are the options to come back?
