@Boiler I found out that they sent the interview according to approval of DQ date from NVC, So my DQ date is aug-16-2023 so I think I have to wait as per the people already have the DQ date previously. In that case no matter if I am GC holder or Citizen.

@powerpuff I mean to say I was green card holder when the case was in USCIS and then I became citizen and I requested to put my case a IR1 as I became citizen. So, after converting the status how does they calculate the time, don't they include the time we waited as a Green Card holder?

I did apply for my spouse ( submitted date Aug,25,2021)who lives in Pakistan and the case was in USCIS where I was Green Card holder, then I became citizen now my wife case at NVC (since May 2023) and I got submitted the documents and its been approved in the month of Aug, 2023. My question is since they put my case as a IR1 because of citizenship, how would they quick they proceed now for my wife's petition. would they cut off any time period since I was green card holder to citizenship? Note: Its been three month that my wife case is in NVC and normally they take that much time. Thanks hoping for positive response.
