  1. Just went through CFO last week for k1/k2s and it was not requested.
  2. We just went through this. Visa was issued on 8/8 and available for pickup on 8/13. Received an email from us travel docs on 8/12 to the email we used when registering stating that the passport was on its way to LBC at MOA with a tracking number. the email said it would be available on or before 8/14 and it was available on 8/13.
  3. Thanks so much. Taipei and Korea seem to be the cheaper flights and it's good to know they don't need transit visas for those locations. Same scenario for us with the different names on the passports so that is great to know as well!
  4. Thank you so very much for all the guidance anytime I have a question. For a sanity check, they are also transit visa free for Taipei right? That's what I read but wanted to double check. Good news, everything has been issued and we are awaiting the passports to register for CFO and hopefully they will be in the US by the end of the month. Great points! Thank you!
  5. Hi all, I am not sure I have the correct forum, but I have a question about transiting and travel to the US. I believe we are in the final stretches of processing and nearing approval after admin processing. Our case status has changed to "received" and has changed from "immigrant" to 'non-immigrant" visa application. I'm trying to plan ahead as much as possible for the flight back. In checking to see if there were any transit visa requirements for Korea, I used one of the airlines websites to check if any visa is needed. One requirement that was listed was that we would need either a letter signed by the non-custodial parent, a letter signed by both parents or the custodial agreement. I need to double check but I don't believe my fiancé has a custodial agreement as the children have always lived with her. Does anyone have any insight or advice on this and if it is truly a requirement for my Fiancé's children to travel to the US? Thank you.
  6. Hi all. Hoping someone can help with this. For my fiancé's daughters, one received a blanket waiver on their covid vaccine. She had a first dose in 2022 and that was noted on the vaccine record. For the second daughter, she had a misspelling of her name on her covid vaccine so St Luke's did not add that to her vaccine record and did not provide a waiver for her. The gentlemen who spoke to my fiancé said this should not be an issue and she would not need to get the vaccine in the US. Is this something that is a showstopper?
  7. Hi all, I have a question concerning changing the document pick up location of visas. We have K1 and K2 interviews scheduled for 6/18. Currently, we have the pickup location in US Travel docs as Ormoc City. I am reading that things move much faster in Manila and would like to know if we can update the pickup location to Manila now without causing any serious hiccups in the process? It makes more sense to stay in Manila and pick everything up there as well as go through CFO there than travel back to Ormoc and then Cebu for CFO. Is it relatively quick and easy to schedule CFO in Manila as well? As always thank you for your input!
  8. Thanks for that info! St Lukes said they could proceed with the medical but it wasn't clear on how it would be handled for the Visa as they told me to call the embassy and I could not reach anyone on the phone. When you say AOS is a separate issue, does that mean there is anything we need to anticipate or is it simply that they would need to get their Covid Vaccines when they get here prior to AOS? Thanks.
  9. Where was that located on your appointment confirmation? I reviewed several times and could not find the DS160 numbers. I did see the receipt numbers. Hopefully I am not missing something.
  10. What was the outcome of this for you? Were you able to get the COVID vaccine? If not, were there any issues at the interview/getting the visa? I'm working to schedule K1/K2 interviews and just came across this. Thanks.
  11. I'm working to schedule K1 and K2 interviews for mid-June. I called SLEC to ask about the Covid vaccine and the representative told me the vaccines are not available in Philippines and I would need to call the Embassy to see how they handle this as it is required. Does anyone have very recent experience with this and not having a covid vaccine for the interview? 1. Did not having it cause issues? 2. Is it really not possible to get the vaccines?
