I was quoted 3200 peso for a private car air con from US Embassy Manila to Angeles City, from a contact on a expats group. Is that fair? Sounds a tad high to me since it only like 1.75 hours, or 88 KM. What about a air con bus does anyone know the fare per person? If you take a bus does it stop 500 times on the way to try to pick up another passenger? Any other suggestions?

Please read my OP, I said peso as in Philippines pesos US Dollars as long as your under $10K your don't have to report entering Philippines It's bringing in or exiting Philippine with more than 50,000 pesos (About $1K USD) , Just a few years ago it was only 10,000 peso ( 200 bucks USD) Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas is the governor authority on it and they set the rules

Why is the reason are only allowed to have less than 50K in peso entering or exiting the Philippines? This is only like $1,000 in US Currency A few years ago it was 10,000 peso or $200 Is this per person or per travel party? For example you and wife are you suppose to keep it below that level?

She has both a US and Philippines Passport, The best of both worlds. I get to enter the Philippines for up to year for free with here with me, and I think no exit clearance is needed, which is nice She can come and go as she pleases from USA, Life is Grand..........

Headed to Philippines next month to spend some time with my wife and gonna fetch her back to USA. I was thinking about having her fly to either Japan or Korea and meet up there for a week or so and tour the country and then we fly back to Philippines together so I can enter the Philippines with her, and get a 1 year free entry (Balikbayan Visa Stamp). It will be much better than entering alone on a Tourist Visa into Philippines, and having to get a visa extension each month for me which is a pain, I will stay about 3 to 6 months and when I am ready will we catch a flight back to USA. Which country Japan or Korea speaks the most English? I have been to both airports many times, but never spent anytime inside either country. Thanks

I am going to Philippines next month to be with my wife for a while. Is it true they are actually requiring facemask for domestic flights inside Philippines? Is this a airline requirement and if so which one don't require it?
