Hi all,
Had a question about a few fields in I-130 — I'm putting it in here as it seems to have a bit more activity, hope this is okay mods?
I am a USC (petitioner) filing for my husband (beneficiary) and I’m running into some questions on filling out I-130.
I am a naturalized citizen, however, I lost my naturalization certificate several years ago. I've since applied for a new one but I can't wait for it before I submit my I-130. I have a valid US passport.
I'm applying through DCF, and so will be filing in-person.
Is it a good idea for me to write "lost, applied for replacement" in the field where it asks for my certificate number?
In addition, I already have a USCIS account number because of my application for replacement of my certificate. Should I use this number in my I-130 application too? What about my original Alien number from when I moved to USA prior to becoming citizen? Or is this no longer applicable since I'm USC?
Thanks for any help you can offer!
