  1. Would my note just say the household total is 6 (not 7 as I had mentioned earlier) and although they are not my dependents they are family members living in the household?
  2. will my sister be added to my I864? or just the I864A? I am confused as to how I will fill out that section. in the I864 under household it refers to the members as deponents, My sister is not my dependent as I do bot claim for her anything
  3. my father was able to be a joint when we applied for k1 (living in the same home) is there a reason why he wouldn't be able to joint sponsor now? his income alone will be enough no need to add my mothers. my parents file with only as my sister as their dependent as she is the only one underage. I'm just unsure of whether he has to fill out a separate I864 or an I864A ?
  4. thank you for all the info, it was very helpful. regarding my dads I-864, he is married to my mother, she does also work. Is there a reason as to why they would need proof that he is consenting this time around and not during the first affidavit he filled out as a co sponsor?
  5. hello! I am currently filling out the i864 for my husbands AOS and i have a handful of questions. 1. there is a question that asks if I am married and to count them as a dependent, however, my spouse is the one I am filing for, above it also says not to count any members of your household more than once (he is already being counted as the beneficiary). I have watched a few videos on youtube, most are not helpful, one said they left a 0 under the spouse dependent and then left an explanation on the last page. does anyone have any knowledge on how to go about this question? 2. We currently live at home with my parents, plus two siblings, is our household number still 2 considering my salary only goes towards us as I am not responsible for anyone else at home. 3. assuming my household is just 2, can I have my father fill out a i864A ? He was my joint sponsor last time, I see a member you are living with can fill out this contract to add their income. Or would he have to fill out an i864 as a joint sponsor? any and all information is greatly appreciated
  6. thank you for sharing the link, it is for my spouse who just entered as a k1 visa therefore none of that applies
  7. before I make myself appear more ignorant, can you explain what INA section 245(i) ? I have tried googling it and it just make a little sense, I also think I read the instruction wrong. It is saying that IF you filing under those circumstances it is required that you have a visa category listed previously, one of them being family based. Not that is you fall under one of those categories you are filing under 245 (i)
  8. Kinda a silly question assuming I read the instruction on I485 correct but.. is the I485A needed ? I believe what I485 says is that if you're filing based on a family visa (spouse after k1 included) then it is required, however other visa checklist websites don't show it as a requirement? Not sure if its a recent requirement.
  9. It makes sense to me that it is silly having to provide it again even though they received it in the sealed envelope. I always get so stressed out filling anything out for USCIS . Thanks for the advice on reading the forums.
  10. We emailed her and she said there is no electronic copy of it, she said she would look to see if there is another physical copy of it. Can omitting this form result in denial of AOS ?
  11. Hello, my husband lost his DS-3025, we are in the process of sending out his AOS and I noticed it is required he sends this form. USCIS has received the sealed envelope that contained this form, but we just don't have a copy to send with the AOS, will he have to go back to a civil surgeon to get it filled out all over again?
