  2. I know that I was just wondering if it's just the same process that they question you or ask about return ticket since the tourist visa or they just don't care anymore. Thank you for you answer
  3. Hey guys ! I am currently in USA on B1/B2 visa. I am planning to fly to New Mexico for a few days. My question is: Will I have to go through the same process at the airport as I went through when I arrive in US. I mean will they still ask me the questions and check all the Information about me and all of that or is it just scanning passport and that's it. Do I need to show my return ticket ?
  4. Can you tell me a little bit more about it if that not's a problem. Just want to know what to expect. Thank you
  5. Yeah I totally understand that tourist visa is not for living in US and this is not my plan. I have return ticket and commitments in my home country that I need to get back to. I am hoping that this one month extended stay won't be an issue. Thank you very much for your comment.
  6. Have you heard of someone who got into trouble because they changed the intended length of stay ? Just asking out of curiosity. The only thing that I am chaining is the length of stay - everything else stay as I put in the visa application. Thank you for your answer
  7. I am probably overthinking it too much. Thank you very much for your answer Thank you for you answer !
  8. Yes, I do have a round trip ticket. I am going to print my return ticket and have it with me ready to show it to them if they ask me
  9. Yeah I understand that CBP is going to be the one who is going to determine how long I can stay. I was just wondering if this change will put me in some trouble while I go through the interview at the border and I was trying to see if someone has done it before. Thank you for your answer
  10. Hello ! I ma travelling to USA in 2 weeks on a tourist visa. I have been in the USA fro 4 years on a student visa and I returned to my home country last year. I have received tourist visa this year and I am planning to go and visit my friends and travel a little. During my visa interview I put intended length of stay 2 months but I changed my plans recently and I would like to stay for 3 months. My question is if I will have some trouble at the port of entry after changing the length of stay. I have return ticket booked and I will have it printed. Mostly, I am staying at my friends house but I have a rough plan of the places where I want to go. I also have a bank statement showing that I have enough funds to support myself during my stay. Has anyone changed their length of stay after visa was approved?
