  1. He is starting remotely and will leave after the meeting.
  2. Update: The embassy finally responded yesterday and accepted our request to DCF, giving my husband a meeting in June for him to file the I-130. Thanks everyone for the support! We're very much relieved!
  3. Yes, not a silly question it's always good to double check but yes this is the email address we've written to 😔
  4. Thanks for following up No, still no news even though we've been sending follow-up emails daily for the past week. We're at a total loss for what to do.
  5. Thanks. We want to file before he relocates, it's just the embassy isn't responding to our request so I'm wondering what our options are if they stay silent until he leaves. Stressful, but hopefully we will hear back from them within the week.
  6. Hi mc620, I'm wondering how you managed to get a hold of the embassy in Paris? My husband has a job starting May 15th in the US and we still haven't heard back on our request to DCF. I'm starting to panic. We sent all the required documents and they never responded asking for any additional documents, but also haven't denied us or given us an appointment.
  7. He does have residency, it's just that he has to relocate in a week and we haven't heard back yet.
  8. Hello, My husband is a USC who has been living in France for 8 years. We've been together for 4, married for 1. He recently got a job offer April 26th for a new position in the US starting May 15th. That same day, we contacted the embassy in Paris to file DCF on the exceptional circumstance of short notice job relocation, sending all the required documents as well and have not heard back yet. He is now due to leave in a week and I'm unsure of what to do. We have emailed them again yesterday but still no response. Is it possible they would schedule a date for him to file the petition after he has relocated ? Or has anyone been rejected from a DCF, even though we seem to fit the exceptional circumstances ? Thank you.
