    My wife had just entered the US on an IR1/CR1 visa. Entry date was Apr 21 so very very recent. We just found out that we need to return to her home country for urgent family reason and might need to stay for more than 1 year. What are our options to maintain her LPR status? We have read about the re entry permit process, but unsure if we’ll be able to stay till we receive green card. We aren’t sure how long till she receives hers. Thank you in advance for your help!!
