    It is better that your parents file for your sibling because that is faster than you filing for your sibling. It makes a lot of difference in time. Also, if you want you can file 2 petitions - 1 by you (for sibling) and another by your parents once they get their GC (for their child). Whichever comes first, you can go with that.

    that is awesome that it's 6 months now. Your parents are in India, so they will go for Consular processing at Mumbai. And are you in US or in India now? If you are in India and not working in US, I hope you are aware of proving domicile in U.S.
