My category if not the same, it’s F2B but Someone over here said they were DQed in Jan, some were DQed in Feb and still haven’t gotten an interview letter. I believe their category is the same as yours. My father sponsored me and he’s us citizen. My priority date is 26th March 2015! It’s been a long wait for me! Sigh 😔 Im hoping I get interview view letter soon, hopefully this month or next. This is what the Montreal embassy is saying on their website. “It is not possible to provide precise wait times for immigrant visa appointments, as facilities, staffing resources, and local conditions all affect capacity and scheduling. As of May 01, 2023, most Immediate Relative and fiancé(e) visa cases being scheduled for interview in Montreal were documentarily complete at the National Visa Center in January 2023; most Family Preference cases with visa numbers available that are being scheduled for interview were documentarily qualified in December 2022; and most Employment cases scheduled for interview were documentarily complete in January 2021.” https://ca.usembassy.gov/embassy-consulates/consular-operations-updates/

unfortunately no one is active on that group, maybe they all had their interviews already. that’s why I’m trying to start a new thread. I fail to find my fellow F2B, I see lots of spouse/ f1 but not a lot of F2B. :(

No it was Montreal embassy from day 1. Yes hopefully it’s in a month, I have very important travel plans coming up and I’m really hoping it doesn’t overlap with the interview date. 🤞🏽

Hello, I have been DQed since Jan 19th 2023 and haven’t gotten any interview letter. I see that people who have been DQed in Feb are already getting their letters. im worried now since (A ) it’s delayed and ( B) I have an international trip coming up ( brothers wedding) which is in July and I would really be bummed if I have to cancel my tickets etc and miss the wedding if the interview happens to be around the same time also after the interview do you know if we are able to pick up the passport once they have given the temporary visa or they mail out the passports? Because I heard that takes another 2 weeks

that’s my biggest worry, I have an international trip (brothers wedding) coming up in July. Which ofcourse I don’t want to cancel but will have to if that’s when I get the interview. I have been DQed since Jan 19th 2023. Montreal embassy. F2b visa class

Hello, I have been documentarily qualified since Jan 19th, 2023. The visa class is F2b, I see a few people over here getting their interview letters in 2 to 3 month mark, but I haven’t gotten any update yet. I emailed the Montreal Embassy aswell, but didn’t get any reply. Since it’s been more than three months, I’m getting slightly worried now. any one from Jan 2023 already got their interview?

The visa class is F2b, I see a lot of people over here getting their interview letters in 2 to 3 month mark, but I haven’t gotten any update yet. I emailed the Montreal Embassy aswell, but didn’t get any reply. Since it’s been more than three months, I’m getting slightly worried now. I’m not even sure if the priority date matters after being documentarily qualified but I checked on the bulletin, it says that the priority date currently is 22nd September 15 and my priority date is 26th, March 15 . Does that mean my priority date has already passed? Can anyone guide me regarding this and also if someone is in a similar boat I would love to hear your experience. Thankyou
