  1. Thank you! Wishing you the same 🍀! My estimated time frame just changed from 7 to 5 months
  2. Does anyone know if the test will include a multiple choice test or do they ask questions and you just need to know the answer? I know most people will get asked 6 questions, but wasn't sure how they ask. Just want to be prepared
  3. Yes, I filed the next day (today). Elidigble 03/03 and filed 03/04 My case has been accepted and I received a letter that my biometrics will be reused.
  4. Yes, I waited 33 hours. My filing date is 03/04/24.
  5. Yeay super exciting! I saw that it might be safe to wait 24 hours after becoming eligible to file, as the system might flag your application as filed too early. I don't know how accurate that is, but I asked this question a couple of days ago and this was the response (see the image attached)
  6. Super exciting! Did you file right when you became eligible or did you wait a day or more? Wishing you good luck
  7. Hi everyone, I didn't see a post for March 2024 filers, but I went ahead and started one. I just filed my case today (March 4, 2024) and my case just changed to 'Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS'. Super excited!! I also just received a message that my Biometrics will be reused! Wishing everyone good luck!
  8. Oh wow, I had no idea until I saw that in some thread here. Thank you for letting me know. I am so ready to file this, but I'll guess I'll wait another day or two....
  9. Hi everyone, I am eligible to submit my N-400 tomorrow March 3. I read that you should wait an additional 24 hrs because you can possibly encounter an error. Is that true? I have everything ready and would love to send it out tomorrow.
  10. Should we also include future travel plans? I plan to take my husband to Mexico for his birthday, just one week after I submit my N-400.
  11. Not sure if anyone saw this… Also, I‘ve noticed that they‘re mainly working on cases that were received between October and December. Why is that? I check the case status tool every day and noticed that they approved a ton of cases that were filed 3 or 4 weeks ago.
  12. I took a very early flight from Hannover and there was no manager present I believe. I am so glad it all worked out though.
  13. Update**** I did make it back to the U.S. after a big headache. Turns out their airport staff was not aware of these letters and it took them almost an hour to manually enter the new expiration date. The lady at the security check did not even bother to look at the extension letter at all. I had my fair share of panic attacks yesterday lol. I did however hear that British airways is always the strictest airlines to travel with. Once I tried boarding my flight, my boarding pass declined again, however, there was a really sweet lady who mentioned that she’s seen this before and she let me through. US immigration at LAX was thankfully super familiar with my letter and after asking me a few questions, I was able to return home ❤️ safe to say: I won‘t travel outside of the US, until my case is finalized.
  14. I would suggest for anyone trying to travel with this extension letter in the near future.., don’t unless you have to. Wait until your case gets approved. Such a headache today.
  15. Good idea. I will ask for a manager when I get to London shortly. I’m flying with British airways. I just purchased WiFi on the plane and added my GC information back to my flight.
  16. Oh gosh. Yes it does match. I don’t think she was even aware of the alien number. But she removed my green card from the system now. She was incompetent. Fingers crossed it will all work out. Thank you for the quick response!
  17. Hi everyone. I am sitting at a small airport in Germany and they were having trouble with my extension letter. They said the physical card failed and the extension letter does not match my alien number on the physical card. Anyone had issues with this? Flying to London and hoping to get in front of a U.S immigration officer or someone who has experience with these letters. Any tips or insights are appreciated. Thank you.
  18. How is that funny @OldUser? Obviously a typo. You must be bored.
  19. Not sure about the service center, but they’re all June, July and even august 3023 filers with IOE case numbers.
  20. I just noticed that within the last couple of days, they approved a ton of people who submitted their case between June - August 2023. One case got approved yesterday that filed on August 17,2023.
  21. Hi I actually spoke to an attorney about this, since I included 2 checks instead of one (I thought they will probably return it). It can take up to 4 weeks for USCIS to send you the acceptance notification. If they return your package, that usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks as well. Try to be patient, there is not much you can do now but wait. Do not send another package, since that might be very confusing and it will probably cause delays (plus you might get charged twice). However, I do understand how stressful this is! Keep in mind, that you ONLY receive an electronic notification, if you included Form G-1145. Either way, you can reach out to Emma on the USCIS website, request to speak with an agent and ask about the status of your package. You can even ask them if it was received or returned - therefore rejected. I want to mention that I am NOT an attorney. This is based on my own research and experience. Best of luck
  22. Great question. Potomac is actually farthest for me. Really not sure why they sent it there instead of California Service Center (I‘m in LA).
