  1. You are allowed to bring your phone as long as it's silenced. You are not allowed to take photos
  2. Good luck! My advice is, don't overthink it! It was such a welcoming atmosphere when I had my interview. Everyone was super nice. You can bring in bottled water, as well as your phone. Make sure you silence it though. Also, bring all of your USICS-issued cards from the past (EAD, Green cards etc). They will ask for them before the ceremony takes place (In case you have a same-day ceremony afterwards).
  3. Impossible to say. You should ask your attorney. If they have to wait for police clearance letters, I would assume that takes a couple of weeks, but I'm not familiar with the system. Best of luck!
  4. They took everything, yes. Thank you
  5. Hi everyone, I had my N-400 interview today and attended the oath ceremony right after (My field office happens to do Oath Ceremonies on Tuesdays, lucky me). The interview was super easy. The questions she asked: 1. What is the capital of the United States 2. How old do citizens have to be to vote for President? 3. When is the last day you can send in federal income tax forms? 4. What did Martin Luther King, Jr. do? 5. Name one state that borders Mexico. 6. Who lived in America before the Europeans arrived? We reviewed the standard N-400 form questions, and after looking at our lease agreement and employment offer letter, she approved my case on the spot. . I'm so happy this journey has finally come to an end! I'm officially a US Citizen! Oh, and make sure you bring all cards issued to you - Old green cards, employment authorization cards, and I-551 Stamps if you lost your green card previously. They will ask for it before you start your oath ceremony. Good luck everyone!
  6. Thank you for letting me know. I wouldn't have brought it. I'll make sure to put it in my folder.
  7. All ID cards ever issued? Just curious, why is that? My interview is next week and I prepared a small folder. Why would that be beneficial? I'm bringing birth certificates, passports, green cards, marriage certificate, and some other things like our lease, car insurance, home insurance, health insurance, and all tax transcripts.
  8. Same thing happened to me and my I-751 got approved the following day.
  9. My N-400 interview was scheduled on July 31st (The interview is September 3rd). The following day, on August 1st, my I-751 status changed to "Case being actively reviewed by USCIS" again, and my I-751 was approved on August 2nd. I assume it was the field office taking proactive steps to approve my I-751. After a long wait, everything progressed quickly at the end.
  10. What did you bring to your N-400 (3-year rule) interview? There is a list of things in my letter, however, did you bring anything in addition? Tax transcripts, lease agreements?
  11. Same here, although mine was from April 2023. I'm sure it will get approved soon! Fingers crossed It's called "Case tracker" from the app store
  12. Also Los Angeles here, but San Fernando Valley Field Office, since I'm in the valley. Do you have a pending I-751? I filed my N-400 on March 4th under the 3-year rule and just got my interview notice! You will probably get yours soon as well!
  13. Through a case status tracker app I downloaded. They approved my I-751 the next day, which means they were actually looking at it this time. No combo interview is required anymore. So grateful!
  14. Hi everyone! Great news—my I-751 was approved today without an interview, and my N-400 is scheduled for September 3rd! I'm so excited that things are moving forward. Yesterday, my I-751 status changed to "Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS." It had been in that status before, but it seems they looked at it this time, and it was approved today. My N-400 interview was scheduled on 7/30, just a day before my I-751 was reviewed. I believe my local field office approved our case (not the service center). Seems as though they were trying to be proactive? Just grateful that we won't need a combo interview anymore.
  15. USCIS updated my I-751 to "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS" after it has been in that status for 466 days. Are they actually reviewing it right now? Has that happened to anyone else? 1st image is the previous one. The second one is the change that just occurred. My citizenship interview was scheduled yesterday. Are they just reviewing both cases now? We're super excited that it's finally happening.
