May 2023 NVC Submission
Leo The Great replied to ZRomper's topic in National Visa Center (Dept of State)
if you have submitted tax transcripts, W-2 form and employment letter, no need to submit other documents for domicile. You may submit state id or driver's license but not required -
Joint Sponsor Spouse
Leo The Great replied to KelvinAndres's topic in National Visa Center (Dept of State)
It is up to you. I have same situation like you(tax file jointly, spouse no-income). I have not submitted I-864A from co-sponsor spouse. NVC only asked for W-2 form. I am already DQ -
Joint Sponsor Spouse
Leo The Great replied to KelvinAndres's topic in National Visa Center (Dept of State)
Just put your join-sponsor income on I-864 form. There is no need to submit I-864A for joint-sponsor spouse if you are not using her/his income. W-2 form income of joint-sponsor will be used to determine the income requirement. Do not submit documents that are not required by nvc (my 2-cent advice, sometimes it delays nvc processing). Carefully read I-864 instructions. You do not need to put $0 in any form if you are not using that income (I-864 form is not about work. It is about income you are using). -

If the joint-sponsor filed the taxes with spouse ($0 income). NVC will ask for W-2 form of joint-sponsor. You may submit it with other tax documents to avoid the delay -

Why did panel Dr email you the vaccination records? Did you bring the proof of vaccination/immunization with you or panel doctor vaccinated you? -
You can attach welcome letter from nvc. Just erase your login info from nvc email image.

You can apply for Singapore police certificate online. There is three step process. Step 1. Submit the online Certificate of Clearance (Appeal). providing the details (FIN is needed if you are non-Singaporean, they have separate link for Singaporean). Step 1 takes 1-2 weeks to approve Step 2: Once the appeal is approved, you will receive email and submit the fee online Step3: You need to download form from the website below and get rolled fingerprints and mail it to the address provided on their web site. You will receive COC in one month after the submission of fingerprint depending on your country of stay. If you are in Singapore, whole process will be very quick. https://eservices.police.gov.sg/content/policehubhome/homepage/certificate-of-clearance-hub.html

You need to have immunity tests for MMR, hepatitis B, Chicken pox or vaccinations plus tetanus shot with in last ten years. For immunity test, you reach out to family doctor for lab requisition. It takes 5-6 days to get back results.

Country for which police certificate is required?

if the joint-sponsor filed a tax return with spouse (No income or not much income). You need to bring Joint-sponsor tax transcript/1040 and W-2 form to interview. They want to make sure that your joint sponsor income alone meets the income requirement by looking at joint-sponsor W-2 form. In that case you do not need I-864A from the joint-sponsor spouse. This is also confirmed by another VJ member who appeared for interview few months back

Evidence of Domicile
Leo The Great replied to AhmadHamouda's topic in National Visa Center (Dept of State)
Letter detailing the concrete steps will help to DQ. One member in this forum DQed on the basis of letter only. You will not be able to open account in U.S online unless your spouse has some credit history in U.S. Bank check your addresses and other history in U.S via third party before approval for online account. Otherwise you may have to travel to the branch in U.S to open an account -
Montreal embassy EB-2 interview wait time-Part 2
Leo The Great replied to Blueeyes1989's topic in Canada
Congratulations! They did not tell you that you need to stay in US until you receive your green card. -
You may fill the foreign address section of I-864 with black pen if it resolves the problem and upload it. My sponsor filled out some parts of I-864 with pen which were disabled for him in PDF. You need to print it for signing and date and scan it again anyway.

NVC document submission
Leo The Great replied to AV2022's topic in National Visa Center (Dept of State)
Check for country specific documents also. Even if all required documents are accepted, nvc will not DQ your case if the country specific documents are missing -
part IV, the big IR1/CR1 DQ'd message group...
Leo The Great replied to Hawk Riders's topic in Canada
Got lab test requisition from my family doctor. I went for immunity test first. Then i went to travel clinic to get Tetanus vaccination and the other one with negative immunity in the results. In Ontario, panel physician do not give the vaccination as per my understanding. -
It took me 7 days after the submission of fingerprint with F1 fingerprinting agency to get RCMP result but that was end of Jan 2023 (No backlog at that time). Another way is that you may attach a note that you will submit the RCMP result during interview as processing is taking time due to backlog. You may also submit it to embassy once you receive interview letter.

My immunity results cam back. Doctor says i need to get 3 shots for Hepatitis B. 2 doses are one month apart and other is 6 month apart. 1- month parts does is no problem. What about 3rd dose which is 6 month apart from 2nd dose. I may receive interview letter before third dose. Does medical panel require all three doses or they accept 2-doses also if my medical is scheduled before the 3rd dose is due

I864 - NVC requesting W2
Leo The Great replied to just_passing_by's topic in National Visa Center (Dept of State)
if they are asking for your W-2 form just add a comment in the additional document section that you are unemployed. Next time whenever NVC review it they will DQ your case. It happens sometimes that if you submit same docs for two cases, you get case review notes for one case but not for other case. -
I got immunity test requisition from my family doctor. I am already DQ but waiting for interview that may take up to couple of months or more. Is there any expiry period for immunity test results with regards to panel doctor? Should i go for immunity test now or i should wait for the interview call?
