Did your husband get his passport back yet?

It went great my interview appointment was for 10am but there was a line up outside. I waited abt 45 mintues before I was let in at about 10:40am I had to wait another hour to be called at first window and they asked for birth, marriage, police certificate and last years tax return but he said it was already uploaded so he didn’t need it. I was called to second window pretty quick- less than 5 minutes and it was just basic questions how did we meet is it our first marriage and where have I travelled in last five years, ever been denied entry to states and what was my longest visit. after that she said she’s approving my visa and how the system is down and it will be updated soon and to expect my passport back in 2-3 weeks I was done at about 12pm so overall took 2 hours I was checking the visa status on ceac around 3pm and it showed it was issued already I also got email that it was shipped yesterday and it should be delivered to me today so overall it was super fast to get the visa issued and passport back to me. Super happy and excited to be finally done with this process.

Just to add on to this, I94 is not required I had my interview yesterday and they asked me if I have gone to states and I told them a lot of times lol, the next question was what was my longest visit to states. So don’t worry abt it too much

Yes, upload them on your ceac.state.gov website as additional documents and make sure you hit submit

Hey Yes please upload your recent tax return!!! After April it was mandatory to have most recent tax return. I read that people got 221g for not having the most recent tax return uploaded in ceac. I event uploaded some of our pictures as relationship proof.

Hi everyone my interview is next week and I wanted to ask if there is anything extra I should upload in ceac, We have uploaded all recent(2022) tax documents and recent payslips and some personal pictures as proof of relationship Can I somehow upload my recent travel dates, I crossed into states quite a bit from the time I filled out the application last year i was thinking to make a document with all travel dates and duration of stay and upload them ? Hi everyone I have an uncommon question, I was DQd on Feb 2nd and my interview is June 28 at MTL embassy my husband has a trip planned for us to Iceland (non refundable) and our flight is for June 29 (how crazy is that) so one day after our interview. He planned this months in advance my question is can I ask the embassy that I need my passport and I will courier my passport after a week ? Or is that not a good idea? I am really confused. I don’t want to risk anything. My husband is sure that it’s not a big deal Has anyone gone thru something like this before? thank you
