Visa Interview scheduled for 21 Sept (with "AT NVC" and now US Embassy Packet) *I think you can only do this with Manila, PH Embassy. Just wanted to let you know. Slots going fast for this Embassy. Thanks to everyone for posting information about your process. It was very helpful. Hang in there. Don't stop. Be loving and patient during the LDR.

After looking at those with a NVC Case number who are months ahead of us, its been taking anywhere from 70 - 90 days to get a case number (from the time of NOA2 approval). I hope I'm wrong. The good news is it seems to go faster after you get the NVC case number. The time period of when you get the interview appointment depends on the Embassy. Some Embassies seem to be much faster than others. *note: I am just guessing by looking at average times from others recently approved.

Use ChatGPT (or any AI) to create tailored realistic Embassy Interview Questions: PROMPT: act as a strict Immigrations officer at the US embassy in Manila. Ask questions of a K-1 visa beneficiary. After reviewing her file you see that she is 30 years old with a 12 year old. Her fiance is a US citizen who is about 48. He has been married twice.

Top 5 Reasons for RFE (based on K1 Visa RFE Master List😞 Lack of evidence for meeting in the past two years. This is by far the most frequently mentioned reason. U.S. immigration laws require evidence that a couple in a fiance(e) visa process has met in person within the two years preceding the filing. Missing or incomplete Divorce Decree. Divorce decrees are required to prove that any previous marriages have been legally terminated. Common issues include not sending all pages of the decree, missing signatures, sending in an unsigned or non-finalized version, or not sending in the decree at all. Issues with the birth certificate. This often involves sending in a short form birth certificate, a birth certificate not properly copied, or a birth certificate from a hospital. In all cases, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) usually requires a long-form, certified copy of a birth certificate. Incomplete forms or missing signatures. The packet was sent missing signatures on certain pages or having left various questions blank on I-129F and G-325A forms. Missing or improper letters of intent to marry. Letters of intent are necessary to demonstrate both parties are free to marry and intend to do so within a period of 90 days. Please note that these conclusions are based on the provided information, and the actual reasons for RFEs can vary depending on the specifics of the case and the current regulations of the USCIS. -
