  1. They send a email to both the beneficiary and petitioner. We received an approval on 7/7/23, was sent to NVC 7/13/23 and we received our welcome email on 8/7/23, paid the fees 8/7/23 and received an email 8/8/23 to upload documents. I'm not sure if my attorney contacting them a week ago helped speed up the process. Here are some helpful links that may help speed up the process for the welcome letter as well as which date NVC is currently working on. Hope this helps. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html You'll need to click on NVC Process below to open the visa journey page for helpful tips.
  2. We're still waiting on the welcome letter after being approved on 7/7/23. We do know that it was sent to NVC because we got an email from USCIS stating it was sent, but we've been checking our email daily for that welcome letter, and nothing...
  3. Don't be. My case status said the same for a few months. The only time it changed, was a few days after the document of approval appeared in the document section. At that point the processing time section completely disappeared. Long story short, don't believe the processing time, it's a waste of energy and will mess with your emotions.
  4. Hi, did you check the document section of your USCIS account? There may be an approval there. I heard on a YouTube vid that sometimes RFEs may also be a heads up that an approval may be coming. The RFE could be for medical, per an attorney on YouTube. Keep checking the documents section for the rest of this week. If you don’t see it by maybe Friday, then call on Monday to inquire about the RFE to be sure it wasn’t sent in error or cancelled in error. Hope it all works out for you.
  5. After a lot deeeeeep prayers, I'm happy to say we got approved yesterday. Received email notification this morning.
  6. Thanks to whoever created this group. Online filling by my attorney: 8/11/22 NOA1: 8/11/22 TX SC Transferred on the 8/11/22 Potomac SC - was NEVER notified (in March I called 800-375-5283 and was asked what I needed, I said "info pass" and was transferred to a live rep within 5 minutes) On the same day after talking to the rep I saw we went from 5 months to 7 months remaining. Now in April, we are still at 7 months. I think the time increased, however, after entering my info on this site today, VJ is giving an estimated time of approval between 8/18 and 8/27/23. Based on my research on this site, Potomac is averaging 12 months, even tho the new processing time on USCIS says 16 month. Do you all think it is too late to request that my attorney file the K3? I'm concerned that it could extend my process time or be transferred to a slower SC like Vermont.
