During my fiancé’s interview today, they took my original divorce decree. Will the embassy send this back to my fiancé with her passport and birth certificate? By the way we were approved! They asked her very basic questions about our relationship…

Can the K2 get the vaccines in the Philippines before they come to the USA? As stated above the K2 wasn’t able to receive the vaccines at the medical because he was sick. If so, how would this work?

They wouldn’t give him immunization bc he has a bad cold but said we can get them when he arrives in the USA

My fiancé and her son finished their medical exam yesterday. My fiancé was given her envelope and CD and does not have TB. However, her son was shown to have TB dots from his blood test but the X-ray showed no signs of TB and he does not need medication. The doctor said he was only exposed to TB. The Doctor submitted the K2’s medical information electronically to the embassy. Will the embassy require further testing of the K2? Will this cause further delays? Please advise.

Thank you very much, this helps us a lot. We are not going to cancel the medical or interview and her son will go with her as well. We were hoping to be together by January but that’s looking less likely now 😫

Does anyone have any updates on this situation? My fiancé and her son are scheduled for their medical exams on November 14th so we are a bit worried about this!

NVC received our NOA2 today, September 15. This was 36 days after we received our NOA2 approval. We also received a case number and were told it would take several weeks before the embassy in Manila received our K1 package. What should we do in the meantime?

We received our NOA2 on August 10 and then we just received another approval Today, August 24. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I hope this doesn’t slow down USCIS sending our case to NVC…
