  1. Yeah doesn't mean anything... mine has the status since April 11th.! Enjoy the wait 😴
  2. Probs shouldn't overthink their online updates. I'm good for 48 month and will now wait for like 25-28 months to hear back
  3. Question to the whole team: Did someone's USCIS online account ever update? I got the non-biometrics needed and 48 Month extension - while my online account doesn't show any of these updates on it. Or is that normal 😅?
  4. I wonder how we keep the April-2023 topic alive over the long waiting period 😄
  5. For all the Germans in this Topic - I reached out to my pervious, local congressman of the Bundestag about the Staatsbuergerschaftsgesetz / update. Let's hope the Beibehaltungsurkunde will be history soon! Probably worth the wait.
  6. Seems like thats what they do now ... IOE and then the letter tells you where your processing center is.
  7. I'll be curious to see what Benifits Center / Service Center you'll get! Mine got assigned to Potomac
  8. absolutely wouldnt risk to go without the NOA... cant your employer send someone else? I'm sure he will understand the situation. I'm glad I got mine on Tuesday... I have a business trip in early June and I will already bring it even that the Greencard is valid till 07/01
  9. Best of luck to you! Potomac sounds like so much fun! .... But I stay quite positive ... last week I read somewhere (wish I could find the article) that USCIS is working a lot on the backlog and that they currently will expedite the new ones.... so I hope we are part of the new ones...
  10. My UPS next morning was over $70! I was shocked..... next time I would file something with USCIS I would use USPS with tracking and insured (and back to sender)
  11. Try EMMA on the USCIS website and connect to a rep! So far they been tremendous helpful! My Employer (and myself) been confused if we would need to file a new I-9 with the 48 Month extension and they been great to explain the situation what the 48 month extension means. In other words no new, or updated I-9 is needed unless I would change Jobs Not sending it with Tracking was not a good idea! Did you use the Lockbox address and USPS? Good luck!
  12. Did you apply for N400? They mostly move it to the field office / closest office to your address to process them combined.
  13. USPS Informed Delivery shows the NOA (and 48 month extension) arriving today! So far quite smooth process once I filed on the 4th of April! I keep my hopes up. Many suggest that filing N-400 Citizenship will speed up the 751 process but I don't want to risk anything as I have to file first with Germany to go dual! 😪
  14. That makes me feel a lot better! I have to travel a lot in my profession
  15. It's Friday - Have a beer, lean back and relax! I completely get it - I drove myself nuts over weeks! PM me if you have more questions (Auf gerne auf Deutsch)
  16. Helping a fellow German! 😀 Absolutely fine! We had all of the things in our both names but adding a mortgage statement wont hurt! Does it get pulled from a shared Checking's Account? Would add those as well! Dont overthink it! You'll be fine
  17. Did we expect a refund for something that they wont need ? nope ... glad it's 'only $85' Would be a nice dinner with my wife
  18. Yes it's a picture / screenshot. It says 'The biometrics fee will NOT be refunded'
  19. $680. I used an old classic check. Didnt trust the credit card thing.
  20. That is very good Info! Let's see if things change when I apply for N-400 next year
  21. I like your theory (sadly its just that... ☹️) I had an L1A Visa when I entered the States and I wasnt planning on filing for my marriage based Greencard (CR1) until 2023 shortly before the L1A expired. My previous employer here in the US recommeded filing for the Greencard earlier due to the uncertain times in politics / guidelines and COVID. Long story short I filed for Greencard in September 2020 and got my Greencard on 07/01/2021. During the inverview the Immigration Officer (super friendly guy - Philadelphia) said that he will leave a note in my files that the I-751 will get trough easily without interview and long wait. Now two years later I recently filed my I-751 and found out today that It ended up at the Potomac Service Center! How is the actual process? Does the file go back to the Field Office that approved my GC ? (Philly) or will it be completed by Potomac all the way?
  22. UPDATE: The two letters are the following: Biometrics will be re-used Login Info - Processing Potomac Service Center 😭 NOA can be only out a few more days
