  1. its within the 90 days but we havent filed yet.
  2. My fiancee has a K1 but we havent filed for AoS yet. She wants to visit her family who lives in Canada. The park allows those without correct visa to visit each other in the park. Will she be at risk of deportation? Is there a way to get into the park without having to go through border protection. I see the park is technically in the US. Anyone have any experience visiting this place before filing for AoS? We are still in the middle of the 90 day period.
  3. If they make the argument that it's just immunization records that aren't accepted and that they do indeed accept doctor's records, all I can see is bureaucratic semantics involved here.
  4. " Items To Bring To Your Medical Examination: The doctor will need the following items to complete the medical exam forms: Your visa interview appointment letter, Your passport, Your DS-260 confirmation page, If any, a copy of your immunization records (medical records from Iran will not be accepted, documents prepared in the last 30 days, or unreliable records will not be accepted), If you suffer from a chronic illness, have been treated for any disease, ever had any important operation, or are under psychiatric care, doctors recommend you to present your medical file during examination, If you are using medicine, bring their names or the boxes of your medicine, If you are using glasses, bring your glasses with you, Women who are pregnant (or planning to become pregnant) are required to have a Chest X-Ray to immigrate. Please be aware that if you do not prefer to have a Chest X-Ray your medical report will not be completed until the end of your pregnancy. Please consult your obstetrician, own physicians regarding your health concerns on this subject and go to the panel physician’s office with your final decision with a written document by your doctor." It says on part 4, that they aren't accepted.
  5. Was completely surprised by this requirement. Her interview is on Friday so I emailed the embassy about it. Unsure of what to do next, besides rescheduling the interview.
  6. They asked her if she took medication (she does) and then they asked for her medical history. I believe her answer triggered them asking and requiring the medical records from Iran. It's so confusing, I thought in Ankara they don't accept any type of record, immunization or otherwise, from Iran. Am I getting that right?
  7. So my fiancee went to do her medical exam in Ankara for the K1 and everything was ok until they asked for her medical records. She didn't bring her medical records as she is Iranian and thought that they wouldn't accept them. She contacted her doctor but since he is on vacation he won't be available to write up something for her. The nurse who administered the test said she could bring it by this evening or next morning but it won't be on time. What can we do? Thanks, Michael P.
  8. I noticed in the Immigration Timeline records the last two users on here that were Iranian actually had their Visas approved within a week after the interview. This was around December '23.
  9. Hey guys! My fiance and I will be filling out the DS-160 soon and had a few questions. A gentleman i spoke to on VJ (who also has a Persian fiance) said that he got AP while filling out his form "wrong". When I asked him what it was, he said that "If she has a job MAKE SURE you list it on the DS-160. Otherwise you will get the BLACK HOLE of AP" I was a bit confused and asked him more about it, and stated that my fiance doesn't have a job at the moment to which he then commented "its good that she doesnt have a job. stick with that otherwise if she does have one they will throw you with administrative processing". I'm still new to all this and these reasons seem absolutely arbitrary but I was definitely a bit spooked by it all. Are these specific situations that can affect a Visa being given to someone from a country that is sanctioned/in conflict with US? Are there any of you that have dealt with this type of situation that have a fiance from Iran? Thanks so much! -Michael P.
  10. @Boiler I appreciate it man. I know I could have looked this up online probably but I do appreciate your time. Thanks everyone else as well. Y'all have helped me see what possible options I have. Cheers!
  11. Oh ok. And then just do a new CR-1 application after?
  12. I understand. I can't imagine how hard it was for you. Still new in the journey so i keep learning about additional roadblocks and what to expect ahead, and it doesn't look good *sigh* Kind of a dumb question, but could I start a CR-1 now? With an AP from the K1 being most likely, is there any benefit to doing a new application, or do you think that would further complicate things?
  13. Thank you Ontarkie! I knew it was probably a long shot but I figured it didn't hurt to ask. I appreciate it!
  14. @Timona No need for aggression. Post it somewhere else, ok bub?
  15. @SalishSea @IWander Thank you for your help!
