    Hi everyone, waiting to see the actual notice but how do you know when they request for medicals? Is it Request for Initial Evidence? on the I485. I’ve got an approved VAWA. Did medicals last month but was waiting.

    I think @kenyy10 needs to hire a very knowledgeable lawyer with track record of similar cases for this case. Reason being, this can count as an evidence towards the abuse If there's sufficient evidence that you were unaware of the 1st marriage by the abuser. I’d say gather the evidence and see a lawyer before attempting N-400. None of this is legal advice. It won't be a walk in the park for sure. All the best @kenyy10

    I always say this (not legal advice) but no 1 case is the same! Each and everyone of us have different forms and spheres of experience with abuse/violence that no one scenario is the same. You should be confident if you have all your facts right and receipts as proof. Don’t be scared, go there, answer the questions correctly and don’t over speak… my 2cents… p.s that lawyer needs a new specialization, not vawa.

    My VAWA finally got approved yesterday. Last time it was approved in 2022 they changed it to name was updated and after so many back and forth they said it was a system glitch. Don’t want to jinx it, it says Card is being produced this time so waiting on the actual a C31 and approval letter… Already have my recently renewed 5years Work permit but can’t wait for this whole process to be over. Scheduling to do my medicals ahead of time just so it’s ready. What are the vaccines I can do with insurance to cut down cost? I already have the Covid ones, I was thinking if possible to do some with my medical insurance, get the medical clearance and present them to the civil surgeon so I don’t have to repeat them, then I do whatever tests that’s essential for the I693. What do you all think? timeline: I130 was sometime in 2020… I don’t care but approved May 2021 Filed I360 on May 2021 Biometrics August 2021 Prima Facie letter Sept 2021 Card is being produced (I765) February 2022 Case is approved (I131) February 2022 Case is approved (I360) July 2022 Name was updated (I360) October 2022 Case was Approved (I131 renewal) June 2024 Card was delivered to me by post office (I765 renewal) July 2024 New Card is being produced (I360) July 2024

    I'm hopeful, I applied may 2021… anxiety and also because I don't want my combo card to expire, still waiting on the renewal hopefully it won't even be needed if the GC comes through faster

    Congratulations, I know the feeling. This is my current fear. EAD expires in February and a renewal was done end of September, I’m patiently awaiting the notice of receipt to bring down my anxiety 😩😭 Can’t afford to lose job 😩

    I came across this today on DHS site, does this apply to us too? 5 year validity of EAD… I haven't read the full thing completely but I wonder when it will take effect. My EAD is due for renewal at the moment.

    It seems it used to be 6months to expiry right? My lawyer told me 4 months as well and I was confused but I just complied 🤷🏽‍♀️😩

    In this with you as well… its a real test of our patience… 27months, 4th prima facie, renewing my c9 combo and I'm also waiting… work is a good distraction thankfully.

    Hi everyone, So my C09 also expires next year but mine is in February 2024. Does anyone know if E Verify will reflect the change of work eligibility or it will only reflect after the extension? Can’t afford to lose my job while waiting for my renewal 😩
