Receipt number is your WAC number✅ If you look into your NOA1 letter you will see your Receipt Number and you can add that number into Case Tracker app to get updates about your case✅ USCIS works in batches of 500 cases, so for example, if your receipt number was: WAC2290098632, your batch group would be 98500✅ next batch group would be 99000 and your case wouldnt be there The last 5 numbers of the Receipt number are the ones that are different for each case⚠️

You will be able to check the status of your case on CEAC website once you have a case number: at NVC, in Transit and Ready✅ I also think you need the case number to be able to schedule your interview at the Embassy (pls someone correct me if Im wrong)🤔
