We sent ours to Chicago a week before you and it just got processed. Definitely wait. You don't want two petitions floating around.
USCIS uses postmark dates to determine eligibility; don't worry about the expiry of your i-94 authorization so long as you got married within the 90-day timeframe. -

Look like you filed with a new fee. How much you paid for both AOS and EAD, and do you separate the checks? Thank you.
AOS is $1440, EAD is another $260 now. Advance Parole also went up to $630. These payments can (should) be added together if filed concurrently.
These were all included in the AOS previously, but as of April 1, 2024, they all cost money.

We had the same thing happen, just got the rejections back this week for the Advanced Parole (i-131) and EAD (i-765).
Since it's a much quicker AOS for K-1 visas, we'll be skipping the ($630) i-131 entirely. Refiling the i-765 Monday with the new G-1450 for $260.
Rejection letter says they didn't record these, so at least it's not the process of filing defensively, but it's very frustrating when we need the EAD approval to get a valid state ID and they were already 3 weeks past their stated processing time.
