I am one of those unlucky ones that is now a subject of a matriage fraud investigation after my N400 interview more than a month ago. I applied for my citizenship under 5 year rule. I paid all taxes, no felonies, and I retained a lawyer for the process. During interview I missed the address my ex and I used to remove conditions on my GC and my N400 is still under review. Last Thursday, I found out FDNS agents went to my ex’s house (they missed him) and my cousin’s house (witness to our marriage) and interviewed her. She said everything went well and the officers told her they were doing a reference check. I don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve been separated with my husband since 2016 and I don’t know what to expect. I just wish they will make a decision.
