  1. Thank you... I filed 824 and paid the fees. After one week, I go back to USCIS website to check my application, all my information there is GONE. NOTHING is there. I cannot find the "TIMELINE" status, and receipt notice and everything! Did I do something, or are they moving the case forward? Emily
  2. I'll look into it now. I'll report back to you all... This means the world to me.
  3. Ok, I am looking now... I really appreciate your help.
  4. I have uploaded the "non" sensitive image of my completed 130. I don't see any errors there. Why would I get this confusing Noa 797. What mistakes did I make? Does this help?
  5. I am currently working in USA and live in USA. I just have 3 year residency card from Morocco. Do I fill the 485 AND the 824? He is still in Morocco. I am in USA working.
  6. Ok I thought so too. Seems like I will need to send 824 via certified mail to USCIS. Which address?
  7. Petitioner: me = us citizen born and raised and was just qualified and issued a 3 year moroccan residency. Beneficiary: husband = moroccan and is OVER there.
  8. I am US citizen. the AOS is form 485 Correct? This is for my husband who lives in Morocco
  9. I am born US citizen but got Moroccan 3 year residency card. I am petitioning for my moroccan husband to move to USA and be with me.
  10. I am the beneficiary/INSIDE usa. To do the adjustment of status would be form 485? Also, I have "3 year" Morocco residency card. I am ready to MOVE to Morocco if I need to, that is why I picked both. OK, seems like I will do 824 form and send it to USCIS and do the 485. I appreciate your response. Emily
  11. Ok, which is better the 485 or 824 option because I am confused with two of them. Which option was I supposed to pick. I am very confused with this
  12. Apparently I made a small fixable error. I hope someone can give me good picture of my next step and which form I should use. I received the NOA 797. Could someone explain to me in layman's term what it means? Should I do the 485 application or the 824 application? Copy/Pasted: The above petition has been approved. However, you indicated on the petition that the beneficiary intends to apply for an immigrant visa abroad at a U.S. Embassy or a U.S. Consulate and will also apply for adjustment of status in the United States. Since you have indicated both options, USCIS has retained the petition. If the beneficiary intends to apply for adjustment of status in the United States, they should submit a copy of this notice, along with a Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. They can obtain Form I-485 from the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov, by contacting the USCIS National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at 1-800-375-5283, or by visiting the local USCIS field office. Filing address information can be found on the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov. If the beneficiary decides to apply for an immigrant visa outside the United States based on this petition, you should file Form I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition, to request that we send the petition to the U.S. Department of State National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC processes all approved immigrant visa petitions that require consular action. The NVC also determines which consular post is the appropriate consulate to complete visa processing. It will then forward the approved petition to that consulate. The NVC will contact the beneficiary of this petition with further information about immigrant visa processing steps. (END OF COPY PASTE) Thank you for your help.
  13. My 130 was approved on July 27th and said that I would get NVC information within 2 weeks and to contact them if I don't hear from NVC by August 23rd. So it should be 2 weeks give or take... you'll get an email or snail mail.
  14. Hi, I want to plan ahead. Has any petitioner (USA) spouse attended the interview with beneficiary at Casablanca Embassy? How was it? What helped? Any advice? Thank you...
  15. Also, I went back to TAX place and amended husband's name to my tax return. That was approved and fixed. I'll upload the tax return that has his name on it. Also, he added me to his "insurance" at his work for if anything happens to him. That helps! I hope!
  16. You're correct. My wrong choice of words. Even we have been together since 2019. That's 4 years. I tried to make 4th visit during December 2021, but omicron covid closed borders. Would establishing residency in Morocco help improve chances?
  17. Thank you for your assistance and clarification. I shall talk to my tax accountant now.
  18. We have been together for 4 years since 2019, visited 3 times. MARRIED last summer - spent 6 weeks. Yes, age is a mitigating factor.
  19. Yes... marriage certificate, consular embassy approved for the Moroccan marriage. Translated everything.
