It was not possible to file jointly without his SSN or lack of US work. Petitioner is not US citizen therefore no SSN. Bank would not accept him due to no SSN. Got it... petitioner is not US citizen, none of the facilities would let me add him. CC and bank cards require SSN. Not possible.

I called KLM. They said penalties will be applied (fees, revoked boarding, and etc). The only way for him to miss the first leg is if he has medical note stating his family has a medical emergency. Hello, I have been checking air fares online. It is so strange that the roundtrip tickets are cheaper than one way. PLAN: Buy two round trip tickets for me and hubby (he is in Morocco). Start at IAH (Houston) and fly to CMN (just me - even if I bought for both of us), return to IAH with both of us. Then go to Border Control. Does this sound like a good plan? round trip ticket = $800, one way = $1,400.

Which dates do NVC look at for establishing timeline to letter of interview? 1st date or 2nd date? Which brings me to my next question. Both days have now surpassed the 90 day mark. This morning, I received an "Update" that my case has been sent to "Department of State". I am guessing that's the NVC? Seriously, I breathed a sigh of relief when we got the updated news! I had filed I-824 on August 2023 and was feeling so dreadful. This has been a breath of fresh air, and world lifted off our backs. Now I am waiting for NVC to send us the CEAS (?) case #.
