    When you receive the certificate that is when you can buy your plane ticket.

    I confirmed this with a family friend who just arrived on a K1. He said yes this is required as this is the final step. These will be shown to the immigration at the airport . This can be take online or walk-in. Hope htis helps!

    My first time in this forum and will be my first time filing K-1. Am a US Citizen and my fiance is in the Philippines. I will follow the instructions and checklist from the website. Anything else I need to know and should include? Thanks.
