    Hello all. I had my interview today. It went well. It was scheduled for 9.30 am and We reached embassy at 9.20 😂😂 But we were able to skip queue as it was immigrant visa. Officer asked me few questions as below: 1. My education 2. Where do you plan to stay in the US? 3. When were you married? Is she your first wife? 😂😂 4. is that your only child? 5. Do you plan to work in academia or industry in the US? I was also asked for bank statements. Since we don’t need it. Still i had taken payslips which I provided to them. She told me that we were approved. My ceac still shows interview ready but case update date has changed. I am not sure what and when it should show changes. Anyways, hope to receive passports soon. Thank you everyone for your support and suggestions. Will keep you updated

    Go to your gp and ask them. They might give you straight away like they did mine.

    Depends on embassy capacity. For instance, london is very fast. But still you need to wait few weeks to months even if your PD is current. No change in ceac until you receive your IL. hope it helps

    Medical you can book now also. You just need case number. for interview registration, follow the link i sent above. No need to wait for further emails. thanks

    You won’t get another email from NVC. Once you get IL, just register yourself through ais link. Use ur case number and ds 260 number while adding as applicant. You will see ur original appointment. Why don’t you try that???? I

    True. I think too. Basically they want to verify all civil documents and Police documents. not to worry @dolibash. if AP also, it will be fine.

    this is for passport delivery. however, for police certificate premium is currently suspended. I also made it recently. They were super fast though. You will receive within 10 working days without premium service.

    Thank you again. sorry but few more queries. how many photos are required for medical and for embassy? I am aware of information from the websites. But people have different information around about number of photos. also can we pay by cash in USD in the medical center and embassy? Because i have some usd in cash and wanna utilise if possible.

    Thanks for the information. I managed to have appointment on same date and same time. how did you manage to add all applicants in a single appointment?

    I have rescheduled my appointment for 12 March. In visa appointment system, my and my wife’s appointment are shown differently. I am the main applicant. Do I need to update Premium delivery service for me only? Or also my wife’s. There is a fee of 21 pounds for an application.
