  1. I’m pretty sure it means it’s an online case but it will still be assigned a service centre for processing. Mine is Texas for example with an IOE case number
  2. For those interested, this is a reddit thread by a former USCIS officer (apparently) it’s a fascinating read! they basically go on to say that the reason the 751 is so slow is that it actually requires the most vetting of almost all applications. it’s a great read if you are interested.
  3. Interesting! I’d guess it would have to be your biometrics if they weren’t reused. At least someone is doing something on your case. My documents tab is totally empty and if I click to add new evidence it just brings me back to the main page of the website again. So weird how everyone has different things on their my.USCIS page
  4. For those with an IOE case number, If you go to your my.USCIS account and click the documents tab, can you see any of the evidence you sent USCIS? I’m hearing some can, but my tab is totally empty. Wondering if this is normal? Thanks!
  5. I think it used to. Now they just electronically scan all your evidence and documents so there’s no real point anymore
  6. Who advises this? I agree with the applicant; send as much as you possibly can with both names on it. You would be crazy to withhold any evidence and just send partial “snap shots” of what you have. Bombard USCIS with evidence and you will hopefully avoid RFE or worse, an interview.
  7. I don’t think you get a choice anymore with 751 cases. Mine just was chosen as a digital case for me by USCIS, I think most other recent filers are in the same boat unfortunately. Looks like digital is the future
  8. I saw someone post that they could see the evidence they sent USCIS for their 751 on their online account and only 1/4 of the documents they provided ended up being scanned by the contractors for the USCIS officer to look at. The entire process needs more transparency.
  9. I can’t see anything in my documents tab but received NOA1 and biometrics reuse a couple weeks ago.
  10. Just out of interest, has anyone who has filed in the last 6-12 months NOT been given an IOE case number? Curious if this is really a new thing
  11. How much initial evidence did you send with the 751 packet? People seem to get randomly assigned interviews by field offices, I think I read like 5-10% of applicants get this regardless of their cases strength
  12. Im seeing a lot more recently filed IOE cases being approved very, very quickly lately. Coincidence? Entirely possible…but the optimist in me says maybe they are changing how they do things and speeding this process up finally. Be interesting to see how cases progress in the coming weeks and months for us all!
  13. Assuming these are true, it is a good step in the right direction. Can only hope 751 cases are being pushed at a faster rate now. There is little reason they need to hold them up if a) there are no fraud indicators and especially b) the applicant has already appeared for a 485 interview and had no problems with their case. Fingers crossed!
  14. Possibly. But those are automated status messages directly linked from his case number so he couldn’t really fake them. I’d say it’s legit.
  15. Posted on lawfully forum with his timeline. Nebraska Service Center. He filed Feb 28th and was approved March 9th of this year
  16. Someone just posted their timeline for 751 online earlier…10 days from submission to approval. Pretty amazing! Can only hope USCIS is maybe trying a better system for this to speed cases up.
  17. Great post. Correct; affidavits are the lowest form of evidence you can provide, not far behind that are photos. Both easily faked and not really considered by the officers. Keep in mind, typically an officer has maybe 10-20 mins to look over your 751 case and evidence provided to make a decision. You want it to be very strong. I believe in bombarding them with as much as possible from the start of your marriage to the date of filing, you want to give them little to no doubt you should be approved. As you point out, some odd cases seem to skip through with minimal evidence, but I’d dare say it’s due to having had a very strong initial 485 application and interview where applicable. Getting an interview for 751 after being interviewed already for your 485 is not a good thing for anyone wondering. Doesn’t mean you won’t get approved by any means, but your case has some fraud indicators (either very minor or major) that require further investigation by an officer to look at. I strongly encourage people to read the USCIS manuals online where it specifically lists this information, can be found with a bit of googling and an interesting read. Essentially to break it down every case is either a) approvable with no interview b) approvable but needs more evidence (RFE) c) fraud indicators present requiring interview d) fraud indicators requiring transfer to fraud investigation unit e) un-approvable due to numerous factors Hope this helps anyone wondering and everyone gets good news on their applications soon!
  18. California service Center and Texas historically are a bit faster at processing 751 cases so that’s good news for you :)
  19. Anyone who gets a 751 interview in this current environment should be concerned. I don't believe the "random" interviews are a thing at the moment. It would be more likely you didn't have enough "compelling" evidence or there are some fraud indicators. If you read excerpts from the USCIS handbook it actually spells out when a 751 interview is needed and fraud indicators is the main one. And if you happen to get a second 751 interview...lawyer up, you are in for a very bad time. Good luck ya'll
  20. Keep in mind, you have shown you love each other and were granted a conditional green card because of it. The 751 packet is not for showing you are in love, that part is over with. They want to see you have a continued life together, its the people who go overboard with love stuff and not enough things like utility bills, leases, insurance etc...that get RFEs and interviews. Prepare your application with the evidence USCIS wants to see...how you fell in love etc is not it, that part of the process is well and truly over with. So it sounds like you are already on the right track FYI my packet was about 4lbs and a few inches thick, USCIS just scans it into their system so it won't matter how many papers you have. Also VERY important, don't bind, staple, clip or put tabs on your documents if you can. USCIS recently updated their instructions on this. It speeds up how fast they can get your application scanned if they don't have to be removing things like staples etc.. first. No officers will be looking at your papers, it will all be on a computer screen now. Good luck!
  21. Wow. Nothing? I had a text with my case number after 3 days and an update that my case is being actively reviewed after 5 days since USCIS received my documents.
  22. The funny thing about 751 is too many people are going too in depth with the "in love" stuff on their application packets. The love part is over. You got a conditional green card because they believe you love each other, the 751 is for showing you have a continued life together, if you want to avoid interviews focus on this type of evidence. Leases, Insurance, Utility Bills etc... pictures and affidavits hold very little weight as evidence and would be best left to a minimum unless you really don't have much other evidence to show, which is not good. In fact I know a lot of officers browse straight past these types of evidence given how easily forged they are. Again, focus on sending the correct evidence guys. You will avoid RFE's and interviews if you do. And we all just want our cases approved as fast as possible
  23. I-751 Packet sent March 3rd Received by USCIS March 6th Text confirmation with IOE number March 8th Case being actively reviewed by USCIS March 10th
