    Indeed! Horrible. When I got noa2 in March , the time line was 6-8 weeks to get thru nvc and be in transit. I even saw some people get thru in 4 weeks. Since uscis recently started processing more cases the nvc has become backlogged now. When I filled out my I-129F the time line said 6-8 months. Turned out to be 14 months. Seems like those around my timeframe have run into the backlogs at uscis and now nvc. This process has been frustrating and depressing. Glad to be on the final leg now.

    Finally! Received case number and in transit status in same email. Didn’t expect both together. 20 days since nvc received case (May 17th) 88 days since noa2 (March 10th) 68 days between noa2 and nvc receiving case

    Have you sent inquires to nvc and called uscis? Im not far behind you, 85 days since noa2 and no case number as well. I sent another inquiry yesterday to nvc. Before our group 6-8 weeks max was entire nvc process. We are getting the worst of the backlogs. First uscis and now nvc. Next will be embassy backlogs I’m sure at this point. Ridiculous

    Ok cool thanks. I just sent an inquiry, I am at 14 days since nvc received our case. 82 days since noa2.

    Congrats! How did you check case status? Is this once nvc has given you a new case number? It’s been 76 days since noa2 and I’m still waiting for case number 😔

    Hello, we are currently going thru NVC processing but hoping to be at embassy in Cairo soon. Anyone else currently going thru K1 or recently finished K1 visa processing in Egypt? Thanks

    Your time is coming soon. Hope you two can find strength in that you are together. Most of us are many miles away from our partners riding this out alone. Sending you guys positive energy.

    Finally some good news. After 68 days of waiting, NVC has received our petition. Any ideas on current processing time to get thru NVC and to embassy?

    I received same generic response. Such BS noa2 March 10th

    I truly hope so. Nvc told me same thing 60. But when I called agent at uscis they said 90 as of recent. I know there are already cases in early/mid March that have been sent so yes hoping for the best. Just wanted to share what I was told in person on phone. Guess I’m also venting lol

    I spoke with a uscis agent and they said they are backlogged with cases going to nvc now. Can take up to 90 days to be sent. Geez. We went from long wait for noa2 approval to now backlog going to nvc. This is ridiculous. Will post when I hear something. Wishing everyone here luck. noa2 - 3.10.23

    I’ve been a Long time lurker. Without the help of everyone in this community this process would be even more stressful. I am thankful for all of you who ran scripts and posted daily and weekly processing data. I was definitely one of those checking updated posts here way too much lol.
