    We were approved for a K1 fiancé visa to the US coming from Egypt. My fiancé got the dreaded SSSS on her boarding pass after checking in. Is this normal for people traveling to get married?

    Awesome our medical exam went well. Any idea what paper work they asked for from your fiancé during the interview?

    Congrats!!!! What did you need for the medical exam? The doctor we called freaked out about how “too soon” and “too fast” the embassy is moving. Also any extra papers you had to take with you to the interview?

    Before COVID K1 used to take 6 months from start to visa in hand. Now it’s taking almost 2 years

    I have been stocking some people’s timelines to get an idea of when an interview might be scheduled for us in Egypt. i noticed many people get an interview date exactly 2 weeks after they’re packet 3 documents are sent to the embassy. Is that correct? Isn’t that a bit short notice? I mean you only have 2 weeks to schedule your medical exam before the interview no? Here’s an example

    I’m doing a K1 visa what would be considered DQed? Embassy requested papers including affidavit of support and stuff and we sent them that about 2 weeks ago. Haven’t heard anything since

    Almost all other embassies are taking about six weeks from case ready to interview except for Egypt why is that?
