  1. You may have filled all the answers out, but they may have misplaced or not scanned some of your paperwork properly. Happened to my daughter when she was doing AOS paperwork...they had ALL the papers, and even sent back some of the ones they said they didn't have (and YES...all answers were filled out correctly). I wouldn't worry. Complete what they say is missing and should be good to go! Definitely try and keep copies of everything...you never know when someone is going to misplace something
  2. Pretty quiet. Looking for some good news soon!
  3. Congrats! NICE bonus of no interview!!!
  4. Yeah it's been pretty quiet. Did get my EAD/social security card...but haven't had an update on anything since October 2024. Hopefully things start moving forward soon!
  5. Congrats!!!! We are all looking to follow suit!
  6. Congrats!!! That is awesome news!!
  7. Congrats!!!! That's awesome!
  8. Seems to be super quiet on all fronts!
  9. Yes...it does vary widely. Got my card through NBC (well MSC now part of NBC)...approved within ~2.5 month on my end, with card in hand just shy of 3 months. It will happen, hopefully very soon for you!
  10. I received a new Social Security card. Same name, same number, same details on card as my old one. Just a new date. I did check off to send me a card just in case the info was different, but it's all the same info. Another document to check off my list
  11. I think padding the vaccine waiver on religious grounds with affidavit letters and a strong personal statement goes a long way. And as you said, a genuine belief is what they are after. The more supporting documentation, the better the conviction. The interviewer didn't press to hard on her waiver; it was a brief conversation. I'm not sure about timeline for others without waivers. I think COVID stalled a lot of people out with limited appointments.
  12. She filed I-601 for vaccine waiver, along with documents to support extreme hardship and a statement of discretion. Her green card application was during COVID so that may have impacted the timeline. She filed May 2020 and got her green card May 2021. Her I-601 was approved with her I-485/I-130 three days after her interview, and she received her green card one week after the interview. They asked her a few question about her beliefs and documents she submitted during the interview, but didn't focus too much time on that form. I think the key to her getting her I-601 approved was LOTS of documentation: years worth of vaccine waivers, affidavit letters from others, a strong personal statement, and medical records.
  13. Thanks! I imagine they will all be approved at the same time (though I have heard of others having I-485 and I-130 being approved at different times). My daughter's I-601/I-485/I-130 were approved together. Hoping mine will both be approved along with my I-130 quickly! Finally received my EAD yesterday! No mistakes on info which is great.
  14. My latest update: I-765 - Case approved (dated 9/30/24). No card yet in hand. No updates on the other forms.
  15. You'd think it wouldn't be that hard. My daughter got her first US passport....her last name has only 3 letters and they still spelled it wrong. Crazy!!!
  16. Just saw today that my USCIS account updated to show my EAD is being produced as of 9/27/24. Finally a baby step!
  17. Congrats on your EAD! A step in the right direction.
  18. Crickets....no update on my end either.
  19. Yes! That works great too...I have been able to see status there when my USCIS account is down.
  20. Nice to see I'm not the only one logging in daily to check
  21. Not much of an update. My USCIS online account updated yesterday to show fingerprints were taken (biometrics done 8/15/24). No update yet on EAD.
  22. They didn't give me an account # on my NOA (it was left blank) and no IOE#. Letter says "ASC appointment Notice" and it references my application # for my I-485 and I-765. Super weird. Perhaps my file hasn't been transferred from NBC to the Detroit FO since it's listed as an Application Support Center/ASC. Still no update on my USCIS account, even though I've uploaded the receipt numbers (just shows case was accepted and they are working on it). I do have a USICS A# now though!
