Hello. Hope your dad is okay. I have the same question as the guy above. After nvc approval what is the wait time for an interview? And how did they get the message for medical examinations? Was it through e mail?

It just asked me "At which US embassy or consulate location will the beneficiary apply for an immigrant visa" since they are in Pakistan I put Islamabad, Pakistan. I did not see a question in the application for adjustment of status at all. I just looked at my application that I saved and this is what it has. Did I do something wrong?

Okay so they have to apply for visa once I-130 is approved? I kept reading about applying for I-485 too so I was confused. Do you have any idea about the timelines for parents and for brothers. I saw the timeline for parents and brothers for I-130 but it’s the visa timelines that’s a lot longer for brothers right? I don’t know where to check that.

Can you explain more as I had read that once I 130 is approved I have to apply for adjustment of status. Or is this application fulfilling both requirements?

I had read that once the I 130 is approved at that point I have to wait for the adjustment of status. I didn’t know if I needed to apply for that once I 130 is approved or it automatically happens with the application of I 130

Hello, I have just started applying for my parents and brothers in Pakistan. I have a question in the application that says "At which U.S. Embassy or Consulate location will the beneficiary apply for an immigrant visa?" My parents and brothers are not in the US. I live in Dallas, Texas. Do I need to put in Islamabad Pakistan here for the embassy? Also do I have to apply for immigrant visa adjustment of status from now or once the I 130 is approved? Thank You
