    My father was attached by a guy which resulted in almost loss of his eyes. He had to go under multiple surgeries for the injuries cause. U-Visa is granted to those who have suffered a criminal activity on US grounds.

    I entered on a tourist visa then filed for asylum with my parents, we got our EAD but no progress since may 2018. Then my father was attacked at his work in 2019 i think and that's when my parents file U-visa while included me as well and now reply for that as well. Now I am married to US citizen for past2 years and i wanna apply for marriage based green card. I am very good at documentation. I cant afford a lawyer so i need advice, do you think i should file by myself. Do you think It will raise flags that I applied for Asylum and U and now this which shows me desperate for citizenship.
