  1. I don't know if there is one, I don't recall which it is if so (there is a help button for most fields). But everybody's DQ will take a different amount of time depending on how quickly they submit their docs etc, so it's maybe not so useful for those looking at timelines anyway. If you can complete the other fields that are USCIS/NVC/consulate dependent, those are the most important. Many thanks.
  2. Please take the time to fill in your timelines - there are so few of us EB applicants around, so we need every one we can get! It's so helpful for others going though the same process, the more data we have the better. Thanks.
  3. Last paragraph on this page - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/step-2-begin-nvc-processing/helpful-hints-iv-processing.html HTH.
  4. It can be delayed indefinitely at the NVC stage if needed.
  5. Ok, so your PD became current this month. So you have only just been added to the queue for an interview. Are you the spouse of a LPR? Or the child of one?
  6. Unless you have valid reasons for an expedite (https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-guidance/expedite-requests) you have to wait your turn just like everybody else. Once she has her immigrant visa, then she'll be able to move to the US and get her green card on arrival. I'd take the advice of everybody on this thread and meet her first, particularly if she's younger than you, to make sure she genuinely loves you and wants to be with you for you, not just for a green card and/or financial benefits. The whole process will cost a fair amount and take quite a long time before she can move to the US, so best to be 100% sure before you start it. Good luck.
  7. If you are the US citizen then you are the petitioner, and your fiancee is the beneficiary.
  8. Sounds like they've been to the wrong address, hopefully it's sorted now and will be with you tomorrow. But they just post it through the letterbox, he doesn't have to wait in! Mad as it seems when they're sending a passport and important docs, but no signature is required.
  9. Ah, ok, I thought you meant it showed as delivered and hadn't been. If it was only ready on Friday, I'd think today would have been the earliest day it would have been delivered given the weekend/holiday, so I'd give it until the end of the week. Good luck.
  10. Are you saying the tracking says it was delivered on Monday? Or just that it has an estimated delivery date of Monday but still shows as in progress?
  11. So you are just seeking an exemption for the vaccine requirement, not the whole medical? You'll need to file for a waiver. Form I-601 is what you need, lots of info about it on the relevant section of VJ - https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/113-waivers-i-601-and-i-212-and-administrative-processes-221g/ Good luck.
  12. London's usually pretty quick, but what is your Priority Date and what date were you DQ'ed? Please fill in your timeline.
  13. Says above they got approved on 11th May 2023 and if you look at their timeline (on their profile, just click on 'timeline' by their posts) you can see they had their interview in January. Are you saying you filed for a spouse over 2 years ago and haven't had your I-130 approved yet? Are you a US citizen or green card holder?
  14. It may only be another couple of weeks, but no way of knowing, it depends on what they're checking and how quickly they get responses/information from any third party. But if they haven't asked her for any other documents and have kept her passport, that's promising. No point in emailing them, nothing to do but wait it out I'm afraid. Good luck.
  15. I thought it was a standard question for all DS-160's, under the parent info. But perhaps not.
  16. it is usually quicker than that. What’s your Priority Date? Please fill in your timeline when you get a mo.
  17. If you search the forum you'll find lots of references from others who have been through the process or are going through the process. But there's no way of knowing how long yours will take, it could be another day, or another year. You say that you're the male but also talk about 'our case' in your first post, so have you already got your visa?
  18. Because your Priority Date isn't current yet. As above, you don't want your I-130 approved and your case to be transferred to NVC yet! There is no visa available to you for several years anyway, so if you want your 20 year old to be able to get a visa as well, you need the I-130 to take as long as possible so that she doesn't age out.
  19. Did they give you any document or reason for the AP? Anything else they asked you to submit? AP is very common for Pakistan unfortunately, particularly males.
  20. Yes. "Do you have any other relatives in the United States". He'd have to answer yes to that and give details of you and his cousins.
  21. OK, if he's Pakistani then his chances are slim at best anyway. Your sister may stand more of a chance if she applies on her own - her husband staying in Pakistan would be a good tie for her to show.
  22. That's good then, your daughter shouldn't age out. I wouldn't chase it - you want it to take as long as possible!
  23. Have you tried putting that number in to immigrant rather than non-immigrant? But for NVC, use the enquiry form - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html Good luck.
  24. Could be 4 months or so from start to finish for an EB case though, depending on the consulate and if premium processing is selected. So pretty quick in terms of getting an IV really - for my case it took longer for the lawyer to prepare the submission than it did for the actual processing!
  25. No, you need to contact Paris directly - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/national-visa-center/immigrant-visas-processing-general-faqs.html#ivp13
