  1. They need to go by Table B on the bulletin for when they can submit. How old are the kids now?
  2. Sounds like you've already got the interview scheduled and are just trying to register? So you would just use the one case number, as you should all be under that case together anyway. Good luck.
  3. I haven't seen August's VB yet, if it didn't retrogress then that's good (given they said it would in the July bulletin). So you'll still be in the queue, recently it seems to be a year from DQ to IL for EB applicants in Rio, hopefully you'll be ahead of older cases in the queue though. Fingers crossed.
  4. OK, very recently then. I'd search the forum to find others timelines which may give you an idea of how long she's likely to have to wait.
  5. If your I-130 was approved in April then you could have your visa by now! I’ve no idea why your lawyer hadn’t completed the NVC side of things already. Why not just do it yourself if she’s holding things up? If you’re not sure of the process then it’s all laid out step by step here - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/step-2-begin-nvc-processing.html And it’s really not complex, we had lawyers but did all of the NVC side of things ourselves to save time, and it was dead easy.
  6. There’s a step by step guide on the DoS website - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/step-2-begin-nvc-processing.html
  7. Yes, but it's a goal of 10 days for those that are eligible for expedites. It doesn't seem that you are as there is no hardship to a USC so no grounds for an expedite. If they respond (they may not, as it's nothing to do with a USC), then it wouldn't be quick as you'll be in the queue behind those who are eligible for an expedite and who need urgent action taking on their case. But all you can do is wait and see if they do respond, and if you somehow get lucky and they grant it. But personally I'd be looking at a Plan B i.e. reentry permit. Good luck.
  8. Check as often as you can but also check VJ several times a day for threads like this one from a few days ago….. Good luck.
  9. It’s done by DQ date for those eligible to receive visas, not PD. So what is your DQ date, and PD? Please do fill in your timeline, thx.
  10. Your first post says 30 calendar days, it hasn’t been that yet from what you’ve said?
  11. Please put this on your VJ timeline (on your profile). That way it helps others searching for Ghana timelines. Thx.
  12. Are you sure the interview letter didn't tell you to follow the steps below? It should have done. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-10-prepare-for-the-interview.html https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/WRW-Warsaw.html Glad your parents got it sorted though, hope they get their visas back soon.
  13. OP doesn't say they did contact them, sounds like just a message on their account. But to contact NVC, head here - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html And if you have questions about CPSA eligibility, start your own thread in the relevant forum and somebody will be able to help.
  14. Maybe another decade as a rough guess? All you can do is watch the Visa Bulletin and see what happens though.
  15. Just to clarify, everybody is put in to AP whilst final checks are done. But for most it’s very brief - my status was AP for just a couple of hours before it changed to issued.
  16. Not sure where you’ve heard it takes 60 days, it can be a lot longer than that. Unfortunately your wife applying as a visitor will mean being put in to extended AP was almost inevitable, as the UK haven’t done any checks on her before really.
  17. As above, it doesn’t sound like you have a valid reason for an expedite.
  18. If you were told to send a letter saying it had been sent electronically and have done so, then you should be good.
  19. As above, his PD wasn’t current until February though. So for most of his/her wait no interview could have been scheduled anyway, even in a country with no backlog.
  20. Your parents can try and go down the same route as you with a job/employment based visa, if that doesn't happen then once you are a citizen you can sponsor all of them. It's a fairly quick process for you to sponsor your parents, but much longer for your brother unfortunately - perhaps he could work towards an employment based green card too if he can't accompany your parents in the next couple of years?
  21. They will respond, but you're just waiting your turn. As above, it's only been 10 days (today is another holiday too) so too early to expect them to be processing it yet.
  22. Nothing to do but wait until they get to it - it's probably sitting waiting to be looked at. Hope it's not too long for you.
  23. In all honesty I can’t see why they would choose the US over Canada. Canada is a far more sensible option for somebody on a low skilled/low salary visa IMO.
