I’d explore other visa options through your employment. You say they’d offer you a remote position, do they mean based in the US? Why do you think they’d not sponsor you if they want to keep you? Unless they’d be cap exempt H-1B is a lottery and uou wouldn’t be able to start on that visa until Oct next year, so that’s far from ideal anyway. But perhaps explore something like the E2 visa if they’re eligible, do they trade in other countries? An F-1 will just take a ton of your money and not help in the long term (as you would be unlikely stay on one long enough to get LPR through your father), so I don’t really see any point in that. You’ll still have to return to your home country but just be a lot poorer when you do! What country are you from?

Have you had your approval for your other I-130 yet? Once both cases are at NVC you can contact them to ask them to link them and schedule them for interview together. Good luck.

How recently did you update it? I did ours a couple of weeks ago and didn’t get any kind of receipt, but it did say that it would take a few weeks for the change to reflect on the online account. So are you just expecting it too soon maybe? Or did you change it weeks ago? Either way, make sure you have change of address and Informed Delivery both set up with USPS.

What kind of case (F2A/F2B?) and which country is he a citizen of? It sounds like an error has been made as you only mention an I-130 being filed, and not an I-131? Is he adjusting status or applying via consular processing?

I asked which country they’re citizens of? Just that if it’s Yemen that may explain the extra checks - and prepare yourself for extended AP when they get to the visa stage.

We don’t even know what stage of the process you’re at as you haven’t filled in your timeline, please do. But assuming you’ve submitted the I-130 and it’s not been approved yet then next stage will either be approval, a RFE, or NOID.

OK, and you can prove you were going back for a job or similar, with a leave of absence just for a vacation? You didn't give up your home or sell your car? Just that in the current climate and administration I'd make sure you have plenty of evidence that you didn't intend to stay when you entered, particularly as you entered together. It may be seen as suspicious that your fiancée was planning on leaving you to go and live in another country. As long as you've got evidence of your plan to return to overcome any doubts, and you're happy to not work for quite some time, then go for it. It's a bad article, I read one yesterday that was much more comprehensive. She was on a visa I hadn't heard of before, I think it was from her employment in a youth detention centre, and applying for a GC via VAWA. Can't recall now but I'll see if I can find the article, it was probably the BBC as I tend not to read US new sources.

Sounds like you're just in AP and have to wait it out. Your wife can visit you in the interim though. Did you not take those documents to the interview? What does your case status say? Is there a big age gap between you and your wife?

That sounds like AI nonsense, again don't use it for immigration advice! It also sounds like it's asking about non-payment of child support, not paying it, which shows that you are separated. Only go to the official source or a proper lawyer, I'm guessing that the ones that screwed you over weren't legit. Make sure whoever you use is a member of AILA, and ask if they have experience in dealing with similar cases to yours. And as said above, you need to get your citizenship sorted urgently. Start that asap.
