Yep, PD is the I-140 sent date, DQ is Packet 4 I think.
And you can search timelines at the top of the page, filter it by EB and consulate to find ones specific to Montreal. The more people that add their data, the better!
Ah, ok. So once you’ve got the I-130 approval, follow the steps from 2 onwards on the link above.
Forget the medical until close to the interview - the visa will only be valid for 6 months from the date of the medical, so you need to wait for that.
Good luck.
If it's genuine and you can prove it, then that's one thing. But if you are only doing it to stay in the US then that would be immigration fraud, and could result in a permanent ban, or your GC/citizenship being taken away even if it's discovered years/decades later. So make sure you're doing it for the right reasons.
As @OldUser said above, you're looking at the wrong process if he's in India. You need to follow the step by step instructions here - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition.html
Not sure which step you're at, has the I-130 been approved?
She’d have got the same update by simply using the case checker page from USCIS. Unless it offers anything extra, I can’t see any point in using an app that does the same thing.
Yes! Never known it be accurate for anybody, all it does is cause worry and I wish they’d scrap it.
Just for one case though? Hopefully the other approval will be along soon. 🤞
OK, so not current yet. At the moment the wait for an interview in Lima is pretty short (approx 4 months) once a visa is available, but your sister could still be several years away from that, so I wouldn't worry about it now as that may well change between now and then.
Good luck.
What EB category are you? Please do fill in your timeline to 'pay it forward' and help others, thanks.
IL's for EB applicants will be slowing down considerably now until the new Fiscal Year.
You’ll need to add him on CEAC - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/step-2-begin-nvc-processing/ceac-faqs.html#ceac16
DQ isn’t relevant until you’ve paid fees, uploaded docs etc for all applicants. Only once you’ve done that will you be DQ’ed, and then it will be back to waiting for a visa to ge available.
Good luck.
It's under 21 on entry, not the date of marriage. https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-processes-and-procedures/child-status-protection-act-cspa
So that might buy you a little more time.
I've asked above, what do you currently do for a job? Is it relevant to your friend's company? You still can't adjust, as you have to be in the US legally to do so for employment based adjustment.
