  1. That will certainly take more than 2 weeks, but it will depend on the consulate you're being interviewed at as to how much longer. Some have no backlogs (approx 3 months from DQ date to interview date), others have lengthy backlogs.
  2. Congrats on being DQ'ed but sorry to hear about further retrogression. Is your PD US date style or UK date style (2nd Jan or 1st Feb?). If it's 2nd Jan then hopefully it won't be long at all. Good luck.
  3. Not heard of that, only know of the previous waiver that was for those who were affected by Covid restrictions. We have our IV interview in a month so sadly ours hasn't been waived (although we did have our non-IV visa interview waived, so can't complain too much!). Do you have an official link with that info?
  4. You’ll be behind other higher priority cases (spouses etc) and it looks like about 12 months for them (see other threads). So hopefully not too much longer. Good luck.
  5. Afraid I have no idea on the backlog for Manila, but as @powerpuff has said you're in the queue for an interview and just have to wait to be notified. Hope it's not too much longer for you.
  6. Are you sure they're not applying for non-immigrant visas? Those are being waived for some people - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news/important-announcement-on-waivers-of-the-interview-requirement-for-certain-nonimmigrant-visas.html
  7. No worries, good luck. Hope you get it back in time.
  8. The time from DQ to IL varies hugely depending on the consulate they'll be interviewing at. Some are only 3 months or so from DQ date to IL, others are 2 years or more. So which consulate is it?
  9. This thread is from December, the OP's interview has long been and gone.
  10. And just for clarity, it was exactly 22 days in total overall - passports sent via courier on 3rd March, received back by courier on 24th March. Hope that helps and hope you get yours back soon.
  11. Mine was 16 working days (O visa, in March).
  12. Much quicker than that, depending on how quickly you pay the fees, complete the DS-260 and submit the docs. Timeline for being DQ’ed after all that is around 2 weeks (https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html) and then London is one of the quicker consulates for interviews - I was DQ’ed late April and have my interview in mid July. So if you submit by the end of the month she could have an interview around October time. Good luck.
  13. Fab, that can be added to the table too. If you’re close to your son aging out then I really hope your PD becomes current very soon, must be incredibly stressful for you. Best of luck.
  14. Which consulate will you be interviewed at? It would just be useful info to add to the table for when the time comes. Good luck.
  15. You might want to tag him/her (use the @ symbol) so they get a notification and see your comment. I’m not sure who you mean so haven’t done it for you!
  16. Congrats on sorting it. What a palaver! Hope you got a money order for the next lot of fees too to save having to fly back again. 😆 Good luck with it, hope you get a positive result. I'm EB1A too, had medicals today and just waiting for interview now before hopefully moving in July (applied in Feb). It's all been super quick and gone very smoothly, hope you have the same experience.
  17. All good I think - assuming we don't get a phone call in the next week or so re: the chest x-ray/blood test/urine sample anyway! Hopefully all clear though so interview next. 😁
  18. Just in case it’s useful, it now says ‘Ready’ and says it’s at the consulate as of today. So that’s about 10 days after receiving IL. Medicals tomorrow! 🙂
  19. Just to clarify, the wait times I mentioned were only for the wait for an interview letter once your PD is current and you are added to the queue for an interview - and none of us can even guess how long it will take for your PD to become current. It could be way longer than 2 years. All you can do is keep watching the Visa Bulletin and hope that it moves soon. As for the process once it is current, it’s all very clearly set out on this page - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/step-2-begin-nvc-processing.html
  20. You've now given the info that people needed to help you (which consulate you'll be interviewing at). There are some consulates where applicants only have to wait a couple of months once their documents are accepted, others have a 2 year queue for an interview. So no, there is no 'how long USUALLY', as it really varies. But for the DR, this thread will give you an idea, seems like it'll be around 5 months or so (possibly a bit longer as your visa category won't be prioritised, unlike CR1's) once you're DQ'ed. Good luck.
  21. Your question isn't clear. What's next will depend on where you are and what process you are following, I thought you were outside the US but now you're talking about AOS?
  22. And that may well be it, but I've not seen anybody else with a 3 year wait, even for Nigeria. Hopefully the OP is already on the case, has chased it up and is checking their online status, but it's worth flagging to him just in case he's had a IL that has gone in to his junk mail and been missed.
  23. And have you contacted the Embassy to ask what the hold up is? You should have had your IL by now. What does your CEAC status check say?
