  1. The problem is, it's not a serious health issue or life threatening for either the petitioner, or the beneficiary. It's certainly worth a try but I wouldn't get your hopes up.
  2. Correct. This is a really old thread, there are more recent EB2 NIW ones that would be worth a read.
  3. Ok, so yes it’s a different process. Start a new thread and hopefully somebody with experience of your category can help. Good luck.
  4. Ah, ok, sounds like you’ve applied via a family route? This thread is for EB applicants and we have a different process. We can’t upload our docs, we have to mail them, and can’t see the status of them online. I’d ask in the forum relevant to your visa category and hopefully somebody can help. Good luck.
  5. If you haven’t had the email then how do you know they’re approved? When did you send them?
  6. CaveMan2 hasn't been on the forum for quite some time, but see one of his previous posts below - request to transfer was refused it seems.
  7. You may have just missed the cut off for the April letters, but hopefully will get one in the May batch. You've not filled in your timeline or said which category you've applied under or your country of birth, but assume your PD is current?
  8. I agree with Boiler, not usually a DIY case if you want the best chance of it being approved.
  9. OP has applied for K-1 though, so it's not an immigrant visa - in case that makes a difference to the process.
  10. The last 3 months they've all been 4 days before the end of the month - 24th Feb, 27th March and 26th April. I'm waiting for one too (but for EB1) and am thinking the next batch will be sent around the 27th May. Not watch them come out tomorrow just to show me how wrong I am. 😂
  11. Yes, on 27th April - not anybody on this thread as far as I know (most weren't DQ'ed early enough), but other visa category applicants i.e. spousal did get IL's.
  12. Congrats. You can ignore that bit, it’s not relevant to EB2 NIW apps.
  13. And looks like it will retrogress further unfortunately. Really frustrating for you but I hope you don’t have to wait too long. Good luck.
  14. Sorry, just re-read your post - only saw the EB-3 bit initially! So you're not current at the mo, I don't think anybody can tell you for sure when your PD will become current. The current Visa Bulletin warns it's likely to retrogress further, but all you can do is watch and wait unfortunately. Good luck.
  15. Seems to currently be about 3 months from DQ date to interview date for London. I was DQ'ed about 2 weeks before you (EB1), hoping for IL at the end of the month with an interview maybe around July time. Good luck.
  16. Have another read of your previous thread, the second post gave you the link to the info you need. Good luck.
  17. It won't harm or delay your applications in any way. But there's no way an expedite would be granted for your husband or other children, as the only one that is affected the court order is the child it pertains to. I don't think an expedite would be granted for her either, for the reasons given by others above, but you need to bear in mind that there's a small chance that her expedite would be granted and the others refused. Which potentially puts you in a situation you say wouldn't work. Out of interest, what timeframe did you give the court? You are aware that there's still quite a way to go once the I-130's are approved, the timescale for those is only part of it?
  18. That's what I've been told by two different immigration lawyers. They said that was always the case, whether it still is post pandemic though they weren't sure, but so far most of the cases I've seen do fit that. Although some months London do seem to send out two lots of IL's, maybe when they have too many people to do in one go? I'll let you know on 27th or 28th! Very much hoping we get our IL at the end of the month.
  19. Brilliant! Congrats and thanks for the update. That confirms my understanding - cut off date of 5th of the month, all cases received before that scheduled for interviews and IL’s sent at end of the month. I wasn’t sure if that was just for spousal applicants though, it’s great to know it’s for EB cases as well. So hopefully end of this month for us then, and an interview date in June or July. Congrats again and good luck with the move.
  20. The first link you've given doesn't mention anything about timeframes for interviews? But it will very much depend on your consulate, some you'll get an interview date within 3 months of being DQ'ed, other still have lengthy backlogs from Covid and you can wait a year or even two.
  21. So you applied for a K-3 as well as CR-1?
  22. Your profile says you applied for IR-1/CR-1? So you wouldn't have done an I-129F, you'd have done an I-130, which can be filed online.
  23. Which consulate will your parents be interviewing at? That will have a big impact on their overall time as the wait for an interview is much longer at some consulates. None will be a few days, the quickest is maybe about 3 months from being Documentarily Qualified to an interview, but some consulates still have huge Covid backlogs and have a wait of a couple of years to get an interview.
  24. 14 days from when it was received at NVC as a rough guide. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html
